hey i've got my visa interview on friday and i'm jus wondering about 2 things before i go! firstly do we have to take proof of being employed/at college/uni,etc to show we intend on coming back from US?secondly do we have to take any expired passports with us?i've jus read the info that came from the embassy and i read that we might need these things?even though in the yummy check list it doesnt say anything about this.if anyone's had their interview in london already could ya please help and clarify this?cheers! ;D PS-i have my appointment at 12:45 on friday, was jus wonderin if anybody else will be there?
Hey, I am taking proof that I will be coming back to the uk. I'm just taking bank statements, credit card bill and a shares certificate I have, oh and a bank book. Just to prove I have money here. I'm just takin it in case they want it! and on the expired passports I've only ever had the one I have now so can't really answer that one! hope I have been of some help!
Jus take everythin that it sez on the list from the embassy. Even if they don't look at it, at least you got it just incase!
I took everything, expired passports etc, with me just incase, but they only asked for what was on the yummy list so just follow that. oh, and take an umbrella.
I took all that stuff too and they didn't look at it! But knowing my luck, i'd have been the random one in a million that they wanted to check up on!
They didn't look at any of that for me either! So I wouldn't worry! I took a bank statement with me just in case though! Charlotte x
