Hello everyone, My name is Jane and I am one of the International Greeters for the Canadian pavillion who will be looking for you all when you arrive on Tuesday. Myself and the other greeter Stephanie R (aka Smiley) will be trying to get in contact with you for a meet and greet that will be taking place in you honour. It's our way of welcoming you into the Canadian pavillion and a chance for you to meet the people you'll be working beside for the next year. There is quite a large group of you guys arriving, which is awesome, however we have been told that some of you may be placed in Chatham until space becomes available in the Commons. It's no big deal as Chatham is only a hop, skip and a jump away, but it makes our job a little harder. Therefore, if you haven't heard from Smiley or myself by 7pm on Tuesday Dec 5th, we haven't forgotten you, we're just having some trouble finding you. So just incase, here are our extensions, mine is 3411 and Steph R's is 1686. Hey Guys! Smiley here... I'm the other International Programs Greeter that Jane was talking about You must be getting so excited!!! Can't wait to meet all of you... I'm from Halifax, NS and working in Foods as a Server and Jane is from Newfie-land working in Attractions... and to extend on what Jane said... The main reason that we need to get in contact with you on that day is that we are planning a meet and greet that night and we don't want any of you to miss it. This will be one of your only opportunities to meet all of the other Canadians from the Pavillion at least for the first week. Jane and I will make sure that you guys are ready for the week, answer all the questions you might have, and most importantly, fill you in on everything you MUST know. You guys have quite a busy schedule your first week here so you won't be seeing much of us. There are sooo many of you coming so please please please give either one of us a call on that day. Don't be shy... I know how I felt my first day. Neither of us bite I promise... ok well not hard anyways haha. Hey guys, It's the big arrival day. Some of you I have been lucky enough to catch coming off the bus, others I am still looking for. The issue is, we cannot get your extensions from the clubhouse, they will not give them out. Therefore, if you haven't heard from us, call one of our extensions asap.
