Hello and welcome your youngest member (I think)

  1. Hello My name's Ashleigh! I am not even eligible for the international programme yet.. for a good number of years! I am 14 and last year I was at Disney world ( I go every year) and an English person working in the UK pavilion talked to me, and I told her I was extremely passionate about roller coasters and theme parks etc. She told me about the programme and a year later, I'm still researching about it! I'm not a newbie to forums with "grown-ups" in them ;). I will not flood your boards with ridiculous spam topics (this one aside!). I wrote to Yummy Jobs asking a few questions.. four years in advance! I just thought I'd give you a heads up. Sorry if theres an introduction forum for new members, but I didn't see it. I wont be posting often but I joined simply because I know I'll have a few questions in the future. Hello to you all :)

So u could get offered a job on say feb but wont start untill september or u might get offered a job in january and not start till october, As long as ur 18 in october u are eligible!

Hi! :) Welcome and good luck to you! 4 years must be a long time to wait when you are this eager to go, but at least you have plenty of time to prepare! As Jim MAn said, you should try to apply when you are 17. That way it won't be as long to wait, and you also have a better chance at getting the position/arrival date you want if you apply well in advance. Are you from England? Join the discussion here, it's fun while you are waiting :) May I also say, you do not type like the usual 14-year-old!

    just keep up the dream....

the same thing happened to me... since 14 i had the dream of working as a cult rep @ epcot... and 6 years later here I am, as soon as I became 18 i started all the process and paperwork, and now I'm only 2 months before my arrival at disney,

all I can tell you is that if you never forget your dream it will happen...

  5. I thought I have to wait for a long time (5 weeks tops to see if I'm in or not) I couldn't imagine having to wait for 4 yars. Luckily I only found out about this programme when I was 17 despite having the dream to be a cast member for years, so I didn't have too long to wait even though it did feel like a long time.
