Harry Potter Lovers

So who else loves HP??
The books are way better than the movies of course. I've read them all more than once
The Deathly Hallows was sooooo good. I cried several times hahaha

Anyways. Anything to do with HP let's discuss it here ;D
For me I think that HP is second only to Disney on my "list" of favorite things lol

 

I absolutly ADORE HP... so does thatmattguy!
I cannot believe I am *just* going to miss the HP theme park opening! I'm definitly gunna have to do a trip back!

 

I love HP!I just keep re-reading all the books and never get bored, my sorcerers stone book is starting to fall apart its been read so many times!Reading the deathly hallows again at the moment, it always makes me cry :

 

Haha yeah it's impossible to get tired of the books. Good to know I'm not the only one that cries haha when I first read the Half Blood Prince I was bawling my eyes out and my mum comes in asking what happened and stuff and I just blubber incoherently that Dumbledore's dead. Haha she thought I was injured or something.
Anyways, how did everyone like the ending? I thought it was good. It kind of left me with a sense of relief. I just didn't want the series to be over I am looking forward to the HBP movie though.

 

Dumbledore dying always makes me cry. His death and his funeral are some of the best written bits of the whole series.

I liked the ending ... the way it concluded things but it also left with you with some pondering to do. I'm looking forward to the encyclopedia thing she is writing in the coming years as well.

The movies themselves are good interpretations of the books though I'm not that keen on Daniel Radcliffe as Harry. I like Ron and Hagrid though they are brilliantly cast. The last movie will be interesting especially since it is now being released in two halfs instead of one production.

omg the Deathly Hallows movie is going to be in 2 parts?? hmm that'll be a bit weird. I really hope that the parts aren't going to be released a year apart or something...
i totally agree with the casting of Ron and Hagrid, they're perfect! ;D

 

huh?! what do you mean the casting? where did you find that?

 

I just meant that the actors who play Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hagrid are very fitting for the characters

 

I'm not sure when they are getting released. I found out from a friend of mine who likes to keep up with HP news.

 

I think I read somewhere that the last movie will be released with a year apart or something :-[

I cried the most when I though Harry was dying in the last book! That was so sad!

I think the woman who plays Umbridge in the last movie is brilliant too! I want to strangle her every time I see the movie

Does anyone know when Harry Potter world opens?

 

According to the Universal Studios website the end of 2009 - beginning of 2010 but I am guessing that is a tentative date as it is hard to predict such things. It looks really cool though.

 

oh no! I hope it opens while I'm there! But probably not...

 

I liked the ending, i thought it was nice although definitly didnt want it to end! Think im gonna be saving up all my pennies so i can go visit HP land when it opens

 

I love HP!! I saw Order of the Phoenix in 3d and it was amazingg!

 

Btw im in NO way a harry potter fan, just stating that TY should be here.

I sooooo agree with everyone!! love harry potter!! cant remember how many times ive read them all!! : ) i wish i went to hogwarts and not stupid uni!! but cant wait for the theme park to open it sounds amazing!! watched that documentary with J.K. Rowling other day and she's had a say in it all so it'll def be fab!!
Reckon when we get to disney should have a major harry potter fancy dress night!

 

i dont think i like Jk after taking a fan to court just because they wanted to publish and unoffical book, next she will sue anyone who publishes fan fiction

 

I hope she doesn't.... I don't have anything to give her!
