Hey everyone! I dont suppose anyone knows how you can have your hair if you're a male at all? All I can remember from the interview was that it has to be easily maintainable. And from the pictures I've seen of people on here, everyone's hair is rather short. Just wondering because I would hate for my hair to be cut shorter! arrgh! lol but if it's what Disney wants, Disney will get it! hehe (see the dedication there!) Dan
Hey Dan! Most of the guys had short hair. As long as it looks neat it's fine. You should be ok with yours. If not your managers will definitely tell you, don't worry Have fun! Julia

Hey Gals and Guys, Hey Dan: I do know it is quite hard to get ur hair short for a year. Yeah it is the basci for the Disney look. U musnt tuck hair over ur ears, or tucking in in a hat, if ur costume has got one. Adn also ur hair mustn't touch the collar or ur shirt. So it is almost sure to have it short. U have heard that some managers are quite flexible, but not to have a ponytail but not as short as u think. Hope it helps. See ya Robb ;D
i duno robyn, i'm gona check the look book once we get it, cos i have a rather drastic colour change which doesnt look @ all natural *unless its possible to grow blonde on the top half of your hair, and dark brown underneath * i love my hair now and don't wana change it but think i probably will have to go back to natural grrr xxx
Streaks are fine as long as it looks naturally. So only some highlights which don't differ too much from the rest of the hair. Disney can be very strict about the whole appearance, although we tricked our managers sometimes. I was wearing braids for about 3 days ( I had them all braided in two big braids so it wasn't that obvious at first ). I also think the whole no bracelet or necklace thing is a bit off. I always had my favorite bracelet on ( a friend I met at Dinsey gave it to me ) and I would only put it off for a minute when my manager had asked me to and only to put it on again as soon as he/she walked away. i'm definately gona have 2 change mine, as my streaks/highlights on top of my hair differ HUGELY to the rest of my hair colouring, tut! xxx
From what i remember, they are stricter on the guys highlights. I remember the managers sending one of the guys home until he fixed his hair. He had it bleached. Another one had highlighted tips of his hair and was sent home. I think it really depends on the managers.
Yeah, I knew someone who bleached his hair and he had to get it sorted before he came back to work. I fogot to shave one day and I had to use one of the razor's out of the vending machine and it was not sharp! ouch!
Hey Gals and Guys. Hey Sparky: OUCH!!!! Come on shaving with a non sharp razor. I think that may happen to me, I dont get to shave every single day I do it every 3 days or so, but need to get the habit of shaving daily. Hey Robyn: That sotry about ur highlights, may come rite!!!! I know sometimes, the managers, come to be more strict with us than with the gals. They let tha gals the hair they want!!! and it can have highlights Hehehehe See ya Robb ;D
Well Disney tends to be strict with everyone, guys and girls. But it all depends on your managers, too. Just don't forget you have like 5 managers being responsible for you. Some are cool about it and some aren't. Just read your Disney book and try to adapt to the Disney style. Once you are in Florida you can see how far you can go and the best is to go to parties at the Commons and really showing your individuality and character. Hehe Julia
