Hair

Was just wondering if anyone can tell me if its ok for girls to have short hair? Mine is like a wee pixie cut and it looks neat enough so i'm hoping that it will be alright. Anyone know anything about short hair on girls plz help!

Yes! Definitely fine as long as it's neat as you said. And not in your eyes if you have a fringe.

my hair was peroxide blonde before the face to face interview !!! decided it would be best to dye it back to my natural colour when I read about the Disney Look... a wise decision! x x

One of my arrivals had to change her colour to a darker one because she had also peroxide blonde hair. Anyway she's all fine now

 

i'm just thinking, does anyone know how long boys hair can be? i mean at the interview i asked roger if i'd need it cut and he said i'd be fine, but it was looking particularly fresh that day! i guess if i have to get it cut, i have to get it cut...

 

May be wrong but i think it just has to be neat all around the edges and the back to be above neck level which leaves having a mullet out. ;D

I've had my hair MEGA short before (grade 1 and 2) and it doesn't suit me but i'm going to have my hair short (and not look stupid) because the last thing you want is hair product dripping from your hair in all the heat into people food

I'll have it cut so that i don't have to manage it, if that makes sense

 

Makes sense to me! For the interview I had mine cut slightly shorter than normal, I'm thinking I might take a tad more off just before I leave. Definately easier to manage! Not really sure where I'm guna get it cut over there, I go to a really cool salon atm, might have to find something similar quite close (I'm a bit picky lol)

Hah yea Dan I know what u mean, i'm dead fussy about the way my hair is cut, will have to scope out a good place coz I need it cut like every month if its gona look tidy!

At Traditions they apparently give you a look-over to make sure you fall within "the Disney Look". My brother had to cut his sideburns. Guys, your ears cannot be covered AT ALL. And the back has to be tapered.

I think girls have it easy for hair, it just has to be natural looking for colour. Which means sometime in the next 4 weeks I have to bleach out my black :-\

 

seriously? me and the man are gonna have some issues!!! i suppose i could tuck it behind and then perhaps i could tell people i'm related to prince charles due to the size of my ears when i do that!

:-\ you could try but I wouldn't be surprised if they told you to go for a cut. It really sucks. Men have had long hair for centuries, but nooo Disney doesn't think that's presentable. My brother used to have beautiful long hair (his nickname was Fabio) and now he says he really misses it lol It's sad in the last like 50 years long hair is mainly associated with hippies and bikers and metalheads = free spirits/rule breakers. Disney can't have any of those, no no. But I think they're really over-doing it with the ear thing. Who cares if you can see your entire ear or not? You can have nice, presentable hair that has a bit of volume to it but still be short!

Sounds like a plan I go over on the 18th August! I currently have black hair too! I dont think it looks too unnatural tho so am gona risk keeping it this colour, one of my friends does after all have natural black hair so its not impossible to have it lol.
