My hair is spikey and black, its not as big as it used to be so its fairly short but will i have to get my hair cut majorlly short?
see i, really worrried about this too. i have longish hair do you think ill have to cut it before i come to the interviews? i dont want them to think i wont fir into the disney image!
i think at the interview its more advising you as to what they want, because on friday there was a few guys with longish hair but some had been before
im slightly concerned im going to have to cut my hair before i even have the position! but i want the job so badly its a risk im going to have to take!!!
Funny story actually. Me and My friend got interviewed together and he has medium length hair that he gelled up for the interview. The lady mentioned to him that he would need to get it cut shorter, or wear it in a different fashion if he wanted to work for Disney. So of course my friend said he would do anything it took. We both got the job, so I think if you show a willingness to mold into the Disney standards, your hair at the interview shouldn't matter.
when you get the disney look book it will tell you all. for guys its like, your hair must be short enough not to touch your shirt collar, styles must be symetrical, side burns short.
Naah, I wouldn't worry at all- I know a couple of people who interviewed with dyed hair (as in red/pink etc) and they got in-b they were just told to change it for when they got to Disney (and definitely do that- people were turned away from Traditions for not having the 'Disney Look'- not fun!). When you actually start working for them as well, they don't get too fussed about hair. Loads of people had roots/ guys had really long hair and they didn't say anything. That said, I was working in a shop that employed 500 people so it was quite hard to keep track of us all..!
Think my hair will be fine its only black (it doesnt look really unnatural anyway) and i can have it flat wen im working AND SPIKEY MEANS PARTY TIME ....or just woken up
When I went down in December of 2004 I was told that I would have to dye my hair which was blonde with brown low-lights (when I was signing all the forms at the Commons). However, when I got to Traditions that were many Norweigan girls with EXTREMELY bleached blonde hair (and I know that lots of them have naturally blonde hair but this was NOT)...and nothing happened to them. There was also a guy in the Canadian pavillion with hair as bright as the sun who did his whole year and they didn't make him change it. So I would say, don't change it until you KNOW you have to....because I ruined my hair by dying it brown and I am still steaming about it just a little. Hope this helps!
Yeah I know, I don't know why so many norwegians bleaches their hair like that! It doesn't even look that good!
i am definetley going to get my hair cut because it is long, but i really dont want to loose my blondeness! i am thinking that i will keep it blonde (highlights) though and well maintained, i did not have this hairstyle at the interview so dont really know if it is acceptable - colourwise!!! but reading whats been said before about being turned away for not have the disney look, i am just totally confused!!! the handbook said no extremes in bleaching and mine is slightly extereme not norwegion blonde, but def up there. what to do!! any suggestions??????
Does it look natural? Because that's what Disney wants... You're allowed to have your hair colored or highlighted as long as it looks natural!
