Talking to my boyfriend and family this weekend made me wonder, what do we do about guests? I know that they would like to see where i am staying but are they allowed? I know we cant have visitors staying over, but can we stay over with family etc whilst doing the ICP?

Yes you can, Louisa says there is no restriction on you staying in the complex. You can go and stay in a villa/hotel with your family if you want.

  3. If I remember correctly guests are allowed in to the complexes. When my family came I had to sign them in 24 hrs before I knew that they were coming and you can sign them in for 3 days at a time. You just go down to security and they will give you a form to sign. Your guests will need a government issued id with their picture on it as well to get in and who ever is driving will also have to show security their driving license.

Yes guests can visit. Although no one under the age of 18 for some stupid reason. You have to sign them in at security (you can do this in advance if you want to) and your guests will have to show a picture ID when they come in. They have to be off property by 1AM. It's all your responsiblilty tho. They won't come and find you at 1AM to make sure your guests have left. In the unlikely event they discovered you let guests stay over or something tho you could potentially get terminated.

I lived in Vista and stayed over at Chatham quite a few times. You're not allowed to do that but it was never an issue. Between housing complexes you only have to be signed in after 9PM. So... if you live at Vista but go to Chatham before 9... they have no idea you're there really...

I dont think id have my family staying for that long. Does it matter what time you would return to the complex at?
I would probably go and stay with my aunt and uncle for a few days if i get accepted cos they are going out there anyway next year, they have invited me to go with them if i dont get on the program, which is good but i ideally want to be accepted for Disney.

I think i might go and stay at one of the Disney hotels, maybe do that for my birthday, trest myself, wouldnt that be soo cool? I wouldnt go myself, invite a few friends that i make. i would like to stay at the Grand Floridian.

  8. You can return to your own complex at any time that isn't restricted especially since you may not finish until after 4am if you work at Magic Kingdom and then if you are a character doing breakfast then you may be leaving the complex around that time as well

Guests are allowed in if they are under 18, as long as they are with adults at all times. My sister, who is 15 got in twice with no problem and yes drivers licence and passports are fine thats what my family used when they came.

If there is an hurricane coming guests aren't allowed into the complexes 24hrs before hand. It got interesting when Tropical Storm Fay was there. She hit Orlando twice that week and hit Fl 4 times so it really wasn't worth having many guests over that week as there was too high a possibility that security wouldn't let them in.

Hey guys! I have just got home from the ICP 2008 about a week ago and it was amazing! But just wanted to say on the hurricane issue that whilst I was working in MK this summer, we had Tropical Storm Fay come through... we all got a bit excited really what with our managers giving us information about what would happen if we had to take action within the park etc... and all it turned out to be was a bit of rain and wind. Well ok, a lot of rain... but English rain... just constant drizzle for about 4 days! LOL. ;D

  14. Haha yeh, hurricane fay just meant lots and lots of rain. A bit like last weekend but warmer really.
