Not sure where to post this question, thought I'd try here. I never did this last year so I'm not sure if it's possible, but can you get guests into VISTA before you're issued ur Vista ID. I just ask because on the first day I want one of my orlando friends to take me shopping to get a ton of stuff and it would be nice to be able to have my friend drive me up to my apartment. So does anyone know if Price lets this happen or do I have to wait until after I get my ID?

I'm not 100% sure either, but I don't think it'd be possable, you never really know for sure but I'd lean more to no being the answer.

Grrr. I guess I'll do a big shopping trip after I get my ID then. Or I need to befriend someone who has already got their housing ID so they can get my driver in.

hmmm, then again I saw parents dropping their kids off at Vista last time, so I guess they allowed them on site to transfer all their stuff over. I guess you'll find out when you get there.

Yeah I'm not sure but I thought about that as well... my guess with the parents is if you're a direct relative and moving someone in it's ok... if the person is completely random I'm not sure if security would beleive you when you say you know them and such on your first day.

  6. I was wondering how that would work if your parents came down with you to check in. Mine aren't planning to anymore, but they were when we first started planning.

Where is it that you go to check in? And how early can you get there? Any time? Say we get into Orlando the night before, when can we go to our apartment?

You can check in any time on your arrival day (nothing else is scheduled for that day). You won't be able to check in the day before so if you were to go early you'ld have to get a hotel.

If you're flying in Disney will meet you at the Airport to check in, if you're not I'd suppose you'ld head to Vista Way (if you're on the ICP although you might not be living there, so thats where it gets complicated) head to the commons if you're a cultural rep (but if I remember correctly Meg you're ICP right?)
