I know it´s kind of early but it would be nice to start to know people who is planning to apply or has been accepted for the Guest Relations or CRP for 2010. This is Medardo from Mexico and for now, I will just have my phone interview tomorrow. I have 2 previous Disney Programs, the CRP from Feb 06 to Feb 07 (the best year ever) and the J1 Academic Program working as a Front Desk and Concierge at the Disney´s Port Orleans Resort. Well, I think I am ready for my 3rd round, lol, let´s see what happend.

    Best wishes for everyone.

so keep your fingers crossed!! Felipe .. I know what you are going through .. it´s a tough decision ...

Hey Leloo, how are you? Where are you from? When did u apply for GR? When are you suppossed to get an answer? What is your previous experience at Disney?

Felipe, I just posted something for you in Sept 2010, but never mind, I just saw the answer to my questions in here.

I know what you mean about making the desicion, it's hard, I am kinda in the same position, but I really love and miss Disney, so we will see.

Hope you all are doing great!

I wouldn't have minded applying for Guest Relatiions. But we Canadians aren't permitted to. I guess because they want individuals who speak other languages to help guests in those languages. Though I do speak French fluently, but alas, no luck!

Hello Debz, Guest Relations is a different program, when you are a guest relations cast member you don't work at the pavillions, you work at any of the parks or downtown disney at the guest relations office, which is basically the place where all the complains arrive :). I don't know if it's the same for all the countries that are elegible for the program (it must be) but at least for Mexico, you must have previous disney experiencie, actually 2 previous programs and you must speak a 3rd language. And there are very limited positions available, evey year they only hire 4 mexicans for guest relations, it's very hard to get it, but it definitely is a great program. But if this is gonna be your first disney experience, believe me, you are going to have a blast, the cultural representative program has been the best year of my life so far.

Matt, I know they don't take canadians for GR that sucks, but have u been already in a disney program? Which? When?

Hope you all guys are doing great.

I was on the ICP in 2006 at the Hollywood Studios. I didn't know you had to have 2 previous programs, but they probably never told us since we're not eligible anyways. I'm going for the Cultural Rep, starting on Feb. 2, 2010!!!

Hey Matt, I was at Disney in 2006 too, but working at the mexican pavillion. That is so cool that now you are going back for the CRP, what position will you be performing? February is a great month to arrive, believe me...

Debz, when will you arrive? Which program? Where from?

Hey Medardo, I will be in F&B, which is what I see you did back in 2006 in the Mexican pavillion. How did you like it? I see also that you've got a little while to wait, but it'll just make it even more sweet when you get there!
