Hi forum, I'm a friend of Princess Tessa and equally as obsessed with Disney. Cast-a-way phoned me today but unfortunatly, I was at school and couldnt take the call but they want me to call back tomorrow. Would that be my phone interview because I didnt get an e-mail even though Ive sent them a e-mailed cover-letter and resumes. :-\ Tessa has prepped me on some questions so Im brushing up on some Canada info but I think the biggest thing is the patriotism around the maple leave and how it unites us but still allows us to appreciate other and all cultures. That and maple syrup is pretty freaking good. Any other advice?

I'm so glad you're applying for the program as well ;D I never got an email saying to expect a phone interview, and I believe most people get date and time set up for the call, so it really could be your int'v tomorrow! GOOD LUCK! You had better call me the SECOND you get off the phone with them! The girl I had mine with was SOOOOO friendly and nice, it was more like a chat with a friend. Just remember to SMILE and exude the Disney attitude..............
I GOT IT!!!! I aced the phone interview and got the One-on-one in November!!! Mickey is the mickey and the mickey is sooo mickey! sweet diggity! ;D
Even though it was quite a serious situation, it was an easy going conversation and we were even able to crack some jokes and laugh at bit. We talked about how many times Ive been to disneyland and how I found out about to programme and I told her my friend, Tessa, really found out all the information and has applied as well. That's when my interviewer remembered!! talking to Tessa a couple months ago, and she's even scheduled our interview times so we can go in together and leave together! She asked what Id do if some guests waiting for a table, who my favourite character was, what Id think of living with 7people from around the world, how my energy and out-goingness is on a day to day level, my favourite place in Vancouver, what to do with angry guests and what Id tell an American about Canada. Then she said "oh, great!" after each one of my answers, it was great!!
Thanks for the help! During my interview, I got a few like that and was like "Oh, hey! I should've seen that one coming " If only I had known the interview was coming. Could have prepared! Still, got through to face to face, so yay! KC
yah, I was glad that I got to call at my own time and get my interview done...though it was still hard. If I had waiting till I was ready, I still wouldnt have called!
