Has anybody heard of this? I only just learned about it! Apparently it's an annual scavenger/trivia hunt for cast members and family/friends if they so choose! There are teams of 4, of which at least 2 must be cast members, and you go around Hollywood Studios after it's closed and try to answer 50 questions/find things/etc. And to top it all off... you're team is tethered together with a bungee cord (not sure if that's still the case but still... guess you better really like your team mates or you're in for some trouble!)! The questions cover anything from Disney movies to Disney attractions - you name it! I so want to do this!!! Apparently they even interview a small group of cast members to actually come up with the questions and scavenger hunt; so cool!! I love that they come up with fun ideas like this for CM's! I'm just mad I didn't learn about it until now!!
O wow!! I have never heard of that!! But it sounds WAY cool!! I wonder how you go about signing up for that...
OMG I did this last year with my friends (they just did it again this year - can't believe its been a while year) :'( and it was so hilarious although two of them got stroppy with each other... But omg its so hard, last year it was Olympic themed and one task we had was to put the 5 olympic rings in the right combo, and we spent forever trying and totally lost! Had to give up on it in the end as you only have a limited time!! Some of the tasks would have been so easy - like a fill in the missing song lyrics - but the schedule we followed gave us name the football stars (huh??) first so we didn't get to the easy ones! So as you can imagine we came like 150th out of 170!! Even the trivia section at the beginning was bloody hard. But you are tied together which accounts for some interesting times... Do it if you get the chance!!
oh WOW that just sounds like such FUN!! I get so into stuff like this!! I think I'd spend 90% of the time just laughing haha But then combine that with my competitive side... oh my gosh it would just be hilarious! Plus to be in the park when it's closed would def add to the experience!! Here's an article about it from a couple years back I found. Jiminy Cricket! So I just found out that a friend of mine who worked there last year actually got to do this, and he absolutely loved it! You definitely are tethered together with bungee cords in groups of 4 - so if there's a competitive person in a group, some members definitely get dragged from one place to another! Most of the trivia, from what I can tell, takes place in the Beauty and the Beast theatre and goes *very* fast. Like as soon as the question pops up you have to answer it! Then you and your team have to do a series of tasks and follow clues. Some clues may lead you to certain people who give you your next task - so since last year was sports themed, one clue would lead your team to a person posing as a ticket scalper, and they would give you your next assignment! When you complete the tasks successfully, you're given a letter, which in the end you try to form the secret word(s) with! This just sounds like the most thing ever! The visual on people trying to run around the park while tied together is just hilarious!
OMG this sounds amazing and so much fun, if I'm lucky enough to get out there I would so love to do it! There so should be WDWIP teams to represent the real disney fanatics!

From what I understand, it's an annual event arranged by Disney cast members, for Disney cast members, in Disney's Hollywood studios. I think one might have taken place a couple weekends ago?? So whether or not there's another one scheduled for this year I can't be certain! Also not too sure about how you'd hear about it... I'd presume it would be either somewhere on the Disney CM web site that you gain access to once you work there and/or one of the newsletters that are often delivered to The Commons/Vista Way/Chatham/etc. I think there's also another newsletter that's released to cast members monthly... I just remember seeing something every once in a while by where you'd pick up park hours and what not for the week. In any case, I think so long as you keep your eyes peeled, you'll come across it at some point! Could even just ask a permanent cast member and see what they know about it.
