Anyone know of any who have either been their before or such. I was going to stay out of Toronto and such and get a drive in with my friend but I just am getting nervous at the thought of not having the control myself to get there seeing as we have to be their at 8:30am. Anyway anyone who has done it or is doing it got any advice for any of us who are thinking of staying there for the upcoming interview. The interview is at The Grand Hotel, in case it was not there any other time.
I think a motel sounds like a good idea. Find one with a pool and have a nice calm night before your interview. You're probably going to be really tense, so not scrambling around is probably your safest bet. As for motels in Toronto, I think it depends on your price range. I think you're probably going to want to get a decent mid-price range room. Give you lots of time to get ready and have a breakfast if you wanted. What I would recommend that is right in the area of the Grand Hotel is the Ramada Plaza Toronto. It's about $79 a night (which really isn't that bad if it's only one night) and it's about 2-3 blocks to the Grand Hotel so within walking distance. It also has a pool and restaurant. http://www.ramadaplazatoronto.com/sql/ It's where I stayed when I was in Toronto (I'm from Vancouver) and I think it might be your best bet. Hope that helps! Hey If you need help finding a hotel let me know. I have a list of many in TO that are close. i work for intercontinental hotels. im staying at a inter. about 5 mins away from the grand. But there are many others nearby! ;D 18 days!!!!!!!!
