You probably won't have the time! You certainly wouldn't have a full day so it'll be a waste paying full price for an hour or two (and that money will really come in handy!)

Whilst you'll be able to take the busses when you get your housing ID they don't always go to guest entrances so you're probably going to get a little lost as well. You get the ID after a few days so it's not really worth it till then.

This is all coming from me the biggest Disney World fan, who spent every spare minute in the parks, so I know how long it can seem.

Well yeah if you want to pay full price for half a day or less you CAN go to the parks, and basically you CAN'T go to Epcot (directly), but you could get to the main entrace of the other 3 parks. You are better off to wait the 3 or so days.

I'd definitely wait- the days are planned such that you can't do a whole day (unless you skip the banking presentation like we all did!) but that was the friday, and you get your Disney ID at Traditions (on the saturday- or it used to be!!) We all went to Universal on the friday to get a theme park in, but we'd already gone to Downtown Disney on the wednesday night. We all took a change of clothes to traditions and hopped over to MGM for a few hours finishing with Fantasmic which I love. I'm a Disney lover, but you get more than enough time in the parks over the year, its not worth 'wasting' money to buy a day ticket.

well you do have to wait for the first couple of days but then one day we had the day off before we had our passes but we did have our housing ID's so me and a few friends managed to blag our way into MGM by showing them our housing ID's and telling them we had traditions the next day! So if you're determined enough it can be done! ;D

It wouldn't suprise me..cast members used to provide it with the biggest business..I don't understand why its such a problem letting castmembers under 21 in anyway..they keep an eye on people drinking whether there castmembers or not!

precisely! i never drank at pi (elsewhere but not PI) and neither did any under 21's i knew cant see that its a problem myself and a friend of mine who's there says it is dead now so cross fingers they'll revert to old rules!

The thing with having it full of cast members Sunday to Thursday gave the place atmosphere every day of the week. If a guest turned up on one of those days now it's going to be a lot less busy as a result and that atmosphere won't be there.
I can still get in though so I'm happy. Good old 8-Trax and Mannequeens.

Yeah..pi used to be awesome tho..because even if you weren't drinking there was such a good atmosphere that it didn't matter..I bet its really gone down hill now though..If i get the job will be interesting to see what its like now..
