    Hello Everyone,

I just found this site when I was looking for advice on Disney Interviews. I have applied for the CRP in the Canada Pavilion. I was asked to go to the final Interview. I was wondering what sorts of questions the ask? Also do they ask questions on your own nations history? This is more a question for people who have been in the program; Do they expect CRP participants to know a lot about their nation? And over all any advice for the interview?

    Thanks,
    Jenn

    Hey Jenn!

You must be so excited for the interview! I was a CRP from September 2006-2007 and I am going back for a second round this October!

As for history about our country, it is always good to have a basic knowledge in case it comes up in the interview (like what year we became a country- 1867, how many provinces/territories 10/3) Most of the interviews are done with two people being interviewed at the same time. In my first interview, the interviewer asked the other person I was interviewing with what he thought represented Canada and why. He was able to say what represented it, but when it came it explaining why, he had no idea. For example, he said the beaver was one of our national animals but when she asked why, he did not know. If you are going to say something about the history or heritage of the country, just know what you are talking about so you can give a full and well-educated answer.

They are looking for people that embrace diversity and emit the qualities that all cast members should posses like engaging conversation and body language, a smile, an enthusiastic attitude and a knowledge of what Disney represents as an entertainment company.

I hope this helps! Good luck with the interview and hope to see you at the Pavilion!

    Hey!

The beaver's pelts were used to make felt hats which were a huge source of trade between Canada and Europe and also in establishing the Hudson Bay Company in fur trade.

The interview itself was taking like 10 minutes. I know I was really nervous! But I survived. The recruiter asked me how my parents would feel me leaving for such a long time and how I would feel myself. Also he asked about my previous internships and my favourite Disney character. Then he asked me if I visited other Disney parks and if I were familiar with the Florida weather.

I can tell you it was not that difficult as I expected. The interview with my current employer KLM - Air France was taking an hour and was way more difficult than the one with Disney. The recruiter was really nice as well as the other student which I had the interview with (you get the interview in pairs).

Some tips? Be yourself and try to talk with the other student as well. And remember that the recruiters are watching from the moment you walk in until the moment you have your interview, so interact with the other students and SMILE!!

I wish you all the best of luck!

    Greetings,
    Jason
