Has anyone else heard about this poor girl who suffered a heart attack after going on Tower of Terror? Its awful- she's only 16! Disney are not doing well this month! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/leicestershire/4680327.stm Charlotte x
i heard about this too! but i dont think any of the problems people are having are down to the actual rides i think they are due to pre exsisting conditions of the people. ??? :-\
Yeah I would guess so, still not at all good publicity for Disney, and I feel so sorry for the girls family- must be a nightmare for them. What a horrendous holiday- I hope she gets better soon. Charlotte x
yeah i heard it on the news to and i agree with stu - these rides cant make ppl like that, they probably have pre existing condidtions that are jus triggered by the severity of the rides - i hope she gets better soon as well ;D
When you think of the hundreds and hundreds of people who actually go on these rides everyday, odds are one person's pre exisiting condition is going to show up. I guess the worst thing about the media in these cases is that they point out that a person had a heart attack (and possibly died) after riding it, but don't express the point that compared to that one person, hundreds and hundreds of people came off that ride safely without any problems....
I went on Tower of Terror yesterday and it's changed a lot...it went up and down like 5 or 6 times....not like the 2 times I came to be used to!!! I agree with Mel...considering how many people go to the park and on those rides every day, i very much doubt it had anything to do with the ride...it's just an unfortunate co-incidence!! Ellen x x x
i think its bad how the media picks up on things from the past too when the two incidents have nothing in common at all, one was a ride fault and the other has been proved not to be!
i was working that day.(..in the restroom by tower)..poor gal.........................................they had to close it immedietely....and the FBI was there too..
