gettin to airport?

how is everyone gettin to the airport? ???

parents taking you?my parents cant(meanies!!! )
my flight is at 9;15 in the morn,so i dont know wether to stay in a hotel night before travelling else i have to wait at the airport for a night or travel down thru the night and hope theres no traffic else ill be late fore my flight

(I love staying at airports at night,people hate flight delays,i love they sometimes,airports are fun,they get you excited !!!,but I cant bear spending the night there with no one I know,usually its the younger brothers,as much as they annoy me(and I them)they are awsome ,miss them loads,they usually keep my family and i occupied at the airport,but with no ones to talk to till the flight ,I cant bear it.)

any one know of any cheap hotels near gatwick? ???

I dont know about hotels near Gatwick try lastminute.co.uk...
Why dont u e mail yummy and ask if anyone from your area is going, maybe they could give u a lift - even if it meant u getting a taxi to their house.
If not dont worry about the hotel you will be fine honestly its not as bad as it sounds... Pick one with a swimming pool or something then you'll have something to do the night b4...

I'll be staying in one of the manchester airports the night before i go! mostly coz its a bit far to drive 6 hours to catch a morning flight!lol

but im guessing my mum and dad will be staying too! although i still would like to have someone from disney there the night before. im not sure if the 2 scottish girls on our arrival group are leaving from there or not though!

Well the lucky thing for me is that im flying from Glasgow Airport which despite its name is actually in Paisley - where im from so the airport is like a 10 minute drive from my house - yes!!

Im not sure yet who will be taking me... at the min it looks like i might be going from the NW... will depend when my dad or brothers free to drive down... u never know Linz i might be able to stay at the hotel... prob wont know till june whats happening...

There are hotels around there for 50 pound a night with a shuttle bus included with Ibis for example. Or you can stay at the Hilton connected to the South Terminal and get the shuttle between each terminal to the north. It cost about 100 pound a night.

You can find hotels from there for Gatwick! Hope this helps!

If that fails, just pop in to your travel agents! They'll have a list!

 

i know Linz it would be crazy!
Ive been to mans airport so many times id know my way round it in my sleep! Its not very exciting to me - but beats edinburgh airport... theres a couple of bars, restaurants, star bucks, clothes shops etc...

Aw i was talking to my mum today about my leaving day... shes booked the day off b4 i go (13 th) to spend with me cos shes working full time in june... She said my dads booking the 14th off to take me down if not she'll book me a car to drive me down... so at the min looks like i'll be meeting u at check in :/

Well fortunately for me im flying from manchester which isabout 40mins drive, but i dont think my mum and dad like the prospect of setting off at 5 in the morning and then coming back to go towork!

 

Yeah i know what u mean Feeona... my dad would take me... but my mum is thinking it may just be better to book a car to take me incase something comes up... I'll say my goodbyes at home - its easier that way

As for me.
My family is driving me up to Mexico City.
Thank God my city is about and hour or so
So it will be easy and as my plane leaves by mid day
We wont get those last running minutes.

i think i'll most likely just go down the night before. think i'll book it soon actually, so i get it cheeper! the flight from inv-manc is too late in the morning.grrr! yeah i dont really ant my parents at the airport. just makes things harder.

tahnx for the tips,Ive decided Im getting coach down night before my flight,as my flight is very early!,and im gunna stay in a hotel right on gatwick south terminal,well not rite,oh u know what imean !!.plus it has monorail that goes straight to the north terminal!!!


oh the words monorail always remind me of disney!!! ahhhh!!disney!!only two months 2 weeks and ill be there!>
