Hi, I was just wondering if you are from the UK is there anyway that you can apply and become a Disney character? I love singing, dancing, and especially acting, an am trained to some degree in all three. I am very interested in the cultural representative programme, but as I say I would love to actually perform. And also, if I couldn't apply to be a character now, is it possible to audition for this if I got into the cultural representative programme to be a character etc. for after this programme? Any help would be very much appreciated thanks x.
heya, thats wot i want to do to. to apply for cultural rep its thru yummy jobs and u can onli apply for one of their programmes at a time. for the disney auditions they are held all over the world throughout the year for all the different parks like hong kong, california, florida, tokyo and paris. they do dancer audtions, face character auditions, character auditions, performers, vocalists, etc. last month they were in bristol and london, though when they audition in paris, italy and brussels its close enough to fly too. duno when they will come back to the uk but keep lookin il get the webpage adress n post it up for u. hope this helps
http://corporate.disney.go.com/auditions/ this is the adress though they update and add in new places regularily so keep a look out. thats wot im doing. im wana b a face character think it wud b great fun! add me to facebook if u wana chat more deborah clark, im on the northern ireland network.
u get accomodation like crp tho u rnt with them its diff accomodaation and u still hav to pay 4 it as well. characters get paid loads more as well from different sites ive googled. the visa ul hav to apply for but u jus get a working one cos u hav a contract already (if u get the job as a character) with crp u get the q visa cos its about cultural sharing. its a diff visa but u still hav to apply for it n can still b denied as with ne visa or entrance to the usa.
True, visas can be denied-i did the crp so i heard all the horror stories. How long can you work at Disney as a character-if you are not a US citizen what length is the visa you generally get-also do they do auditions in the UK?
hey i duno i suppose as long as u get a contrat for and while your contracted u can apply to move parks and change job over there, i assume ifu hav a job then u can get the visa extended but im not sure ud hav to ask the visa office. yes they audition in the uk
