i know there are a few aussies topics but they are stagnate, i was wondering you any alumni or current people on the summer programs can just give me some info :D

1- i was told the presentations are in adelaide and sydney but "but on-line presentations and phone interviews can be provided for candidates located elsewhere.".... i am from melb - would i have to do any travelling? (i already know we have a us embassy here for visa stuff)
2 - In terms of costs - how much is it for the medical insurance plus visa fees - and is approximatly $2500 - $3000 AU the going rate for flights from melbourne to orlando (i think the interniary things showed either a flight ot sydney then LA or straight ot LA then domestic flights from LA to Orlando)
3 - I have experience workign as a checkout chick for coles, a kitchen hand for red rooster, a car park attendant for a small company aswell as umpiring a couple of sports - will that help me much??
4 - IS IT AS FUN AS IT SOUNDS :p

Hope all the aussies over there are having fun

I really don't know how the prices and stuff are for you guys. But for me a one way plane ticket to Orlando was around $5-600 american dollars. The visa cost $100 american dollars. As long as they have the online presentations and phone interviews, I would guess that it's up to you if you're able to travel to those cities or not.

Some times you're work experience don't count that much I think, but it all varies from country to country. The important thing is to show your enthusiasm about working for Disney and living with people from other countries.

I'm a former CRP but I think it was a lot of fun! Of course like any other jobs, it has its ups and downs, but it was mostly fun and definitley worth doing ;D
