Hey all, I read somewhere in the last two days something about formals. Like dances and such. Does this happen often during the program? Should I go buy something pretty to wear? LoL Thanks again everyone!
Disney hold seasonal formal events, normally at one of the resorts for cast members. It is deffo worth getting dressed up for but don't worry about overpacking because clothes are so cheap over there. I got a compeletly new wardrobe whilst over there. But don't forget smart wear for traditions, you'll need that for your first week. xxx
There is awesome dresses like everywhere for 20$, så dont bother to bring all the ones you have at home. You will buy so much clothes there anyway
Yeah, my plan is to take enough clothes to last me around 2 1/2 weeks plus my traditions formal wear and maybe a dress, then just buy the rest of my stuff down there Much easier to do that, than have to pay for extra baggage on the plane
Yeah, the Outlet Malls are pretty close to the Commons - about 10 mins walk. That's part of the reason that you only need to take a couple of weeks worth of clothes - you can pop round to the Outlet Malls and get some really cheap, but nice stuff. I'll probably end up spending a lot of my wages on Disney clothes too - may as well make the most of the discount while I have it!
