How does the whole food situation work in the apartments... Do you all go shopping individually and have your own little food areas? Or all share stuff and what not. I hope there is a grocery store close by...
I just read the guide disney sent me, it says you can label food you don't want to share with your roomies, but I think you have to set the rules when you get there, if you are all sharing food or whatever. In my case I'm on a diet so I need to buy special food, so I won't eat someone else food. It'd be unpolite that you buy your own food and you find out that someone else is eating yours without your permission.
You just have a kitchen full of empty cupboards and a crammed fridge. You basically just go buy your own stuff, but you may want to share some stuff. I sometimes shared milk and bread (cause it seems to turn blue pretty quick) and stuff like ketchup, etc. Space in the fridges are limited, especially in apts of more that 4 people. You have one fridge, the same size, regardless of the size of your apt. It can get squishy with 4 litres of milk in there!!! We just split up the cupboards, shelves in the fridge and shelves in the pantry. Your space in all of the above got better with your seniority in the apt!! The poor newbie was left with the drawers at the bottom until somebody left and she got their shelf. You roomies will have some type of system when you get there so just see what they do. Shan
like shan said, just basically claim your own cupboard and stock it up. i have a 4 person apartment so we all have our own space and the fridge is never completely full.....however the freezer is another story. you can shop at wal-mart or publix for food.
i was gonna ask that bout the frezzer - cos usa fidges have a fridge on the bottom then a tiny frezzer bit on the top - must be hard to keep all of your stuff in there?? ???
Depends what size apartment you get. But, I personally never use the freezer. Your find your always eat out most of the time, well I do. Your UK F & B like me so your gonna be going out alot with the rest of the crew. Especially Benigans!
Once you start making tips, you will. Until then........ The freezer sucked. I don't think half the food in there belonged to any of us. Shan
