Hey all, I've just bought my USA simpack from www.fonepool.com - fantastic deals, check it out! Don't worry if you don't have a tri-band phone, cause you can buy a "phone pack" from them. If you do decide to go ahead, I would be really grateful if you could add my name as your referal: catwalk2486@hotmail.com Don't feel obliged to do it but theres no harm in mentioning it! It really is a fantastic deal, if you're like me and can't live without your mobile! Cat
Just a quick question is buying that pack better than buying an american mobile which i was going to do?
Its just a different approach! If you buy that pack it is £29 (or equiv in your currency) and you get $30 of credit, but in order to do it you need to have a Tri-Band phone, which is not locked to your network! (if you are in the UK chances are it will be locked to your network but this can be unlocked) If you buy a phone in the US it'll come all ready prepared, no need to worry about unlocking, but then you do have to pay for the phone! It's just whatever works best for you... Personally I am going to have 2 phones, i'll have my Orange phone with my UK phone number in it, and I purchased a 2nd phone from the Orange Shop which is a cheap tri-band nokia 3120 (cost me £40) Nokias are really easy to get unlocked, so I got my unlocking code off the web, and ordered my USA sim card from fonepool. That will work for me. It really just depends on which way you want to approach this? Colin
hiya ive bought my usa simpack and i have a nokia phone which needs to be unlocked, where on the net did u find the code which unlocked ure? Lisa xxx
I was researching online and walmart seems to have a lot of good phones for pretty cheap. I'll be looking into that when I get down there. I researched ordering from fonepool but it'll probably be cheaper to just do it there.
