    hey everyone.

So I'm gutted right about now... checked flight prices a few days ago and was able to fly aberdeen-london-orlando return for £490.
I wasnt able to get back to computer to book them, and checked again today and the same flights are showin at £750 now!
    I'm gutted!

I'm goin out on 5th june and coming home on 31st august.
    Anyone recommend anywhere for flights?

ok so does this sound absolutely crazy?
I have found flights from dublin-london gatwick-orlando on BA for £517
And I've found a flight with BA from aberdeen-london gatwick for £102
So would it be crazy of me to book both which is £619 and then just use the aberdeen-london flight and the london-orlando flight and just not use the dublin-london part?
    Is that totally crazy?

It would mean I'd be on exactly the same flights as before which are now coming up at £760 to book together.

Yeah, im flying from glasgow - new york - orlando for £650. I booked through STA travel. Flyglobespans cheaper at £550 but supposedly noone will be able to meet you at the airport cos they only fly to sandford and so youd have to pay extra to get to orlando wheres in orlando they meet u at the airport :)

I would check with the airlines if you could do this because i think when you miss one leg of your flight all subsequent legs are cancelled automatically so they wouldnt let you on the london to orlando flight. So definitely make sure that you can miss the 1st part before you book it. :)

ur best bet would be to use globespan n fly from glasgow, even getting a taxi to the commons/vista/chatham you would save money in the long run plus as someone said before about just using part of ur flight,
you possibly wouldnt be allowed because its a connection and ur luggage will already be onboard.

have u asked in the travel agents about prices also because sometimes they r as cheap with like summer sales trying to hit targets b4 the high season starts??

If all else fails..try STA or Travelsupermarket.com..

I got mine from STA with virgin..It was cheaper than it was advertised on the virgin website as!

Actually you cant even do that.  The only place to Check in to get your tickets would be Dublin, so you would have to be there any ways on the day.  You can't just go to London, when they layover will be, they won't even let you on the plane.

try megabus - i was a student at aberdeen and i often got the bus from aberdeen to london and london to cardiff and so long as its about 6 weeks in advance booking then u can get it form £2.50ish. i personally would do that and get a hotel by the airport u can get rooms from like £40 a night which is still a lot cheaper

I am such a lazy traveller thats my problem.
So the nice lady at STA explained to me that if i missed the first flight BA would auto cancel all the rest so i wouldnt be able to do it that way. She did however congratulate me on some creative thinking. hehe
So since I'm a lazy traveller and not a fan of buses or trains hehe my options are:

    1) £690 to fly with BA from abdn-london-orlando
    2) £600 to fly with AA from abdn-london-miami-orlando
    3) like £550 to fly from glasgow to new york to orlando

Even thought I really cant afford it i'm thinkin I'm gonna book the first option for easyness.

oooh that bein said i think it is highly annoying that you can find BA flights from amsterdam-london-orlando for £440
And its the same london-orlando flight.
    How shocking is that?!

ah but pirces go up per leg of the journey dependant on how many folk are on the flight. obviously not many travel amsterdam-london!

the prices likely went up so fast because all the rest of the disney employed folk are booked on those flights too!

Surely the 3rd option is the best for you..Its £140 cheaper and its just the same amount of stops?

yeah the 3rd option has to be best, unless getting from aberdeen to glasgow is more hassle than its worth!

in the meantime id definately suggest STA to anyone, i got my flight for just under £300
direct manchester - orlando with virgin, on the virgin website it was quoted at £450. first time ive used them but if theres that much discount with most flights then its well worth a look!

so its official - i love the lady at Thomas Cook!

I tried ringing STA today to book my flights aberdeen-london-orlando with BA for £690. She wasnt in so they said call back on tuesday.
I am sooooo glad she wasnt in cause I popped in to thomas cook this afternoon and the FAB! lady there managed to find me:

Virgin flight from london-orlando for £390 and then my london flight is just under £100. So my total cost for getting there is £487. All booked and paid for.
    Aberdeen-London Gatwick with BA
and then London Gatwick-Orlando with Virgin.

    I am sooooo pleased.
So I'm flying out on 5th june with virgin at 12.45 arriving in orlando at 16.55
and i come home on 4th september leaving orlando at 19.40.
Anyone else on the same flight?!
