Does anybody have a vague idea of how much the flight will be im just in the process of sorting my finances out and would really appreciate some idea of how much it will be so i can plan for it! Mike x
Hey all in all i think mine was around £500. i'm going glasgow-gatwick-orlando and got a flexible ticket so i can travel afterwards. ur best bet is probably to shop around and get the cheapest price cause i booked the first one i phoned cause i was so excited! probably not the smartest thing in the world! oh well hope that helped a little Elainexx
Mike, Disney book our tickets for us once we know we have our visa, Ian's ticket was $520, i'd probably try and use that as a rough guideline Colin
You can book your ticket though without disney. Just know that you could be turned down for your visa and then you won't be able to go but that is unlikely. If you did book your ticket without disney you just need to tell them the flight details. How much it costs depends on the travel time. I'm flying out in August and so mine is quite expensive but if you go to the STA website they could get you a discounted price. Hope this helps x x
i was just doing a hypothetical search and for a round trip from Calgary Canada its about 500 US for a round trip ticket for the ICP... one thing to note... try and book flights on tuesday, wednesday, and thursday as they are way cheaper than flights around the weekend
Kinda hard because they gave me my date and I DOUBT that I could CHANGE that!! I am doing research about a one way ticket as Disney will be paying for my ticket BACK HOME once I complete the year long program!! ;D
what happens if you have a date you are supposed to arrive and theres no flights from your city on that day... is it possible to go a day early type thing?
I checked if there would be a flight on my day so i may and its not confirmed at all but i may have to go to london for my flight as there doesnt appear to be one from manchester the day i leave. Mike
Generally you'd have to find a flight via another airport (there are NO direct flights from Glasgow to MCO these days :). Generally it's not possible to arrive early. I say generally, since my Canadian roomie arrived a day early. I guess it would depend on your visa and whether housing had space for you. :-\ Ona x
Hey Charlote...we were told at the presentation that our flights would be booked via Disney, and nothing was mentioned about being able to book them yourselves???? Don't worry Mike...we'll get you there even if I have to book Dumbo to come and fly you over xKx
They can book them for you but if you wanted to book them you can i checked with alexis and she said that was fine
I could be wrong Brennan but I think us Canadians have to book it ourselves, it's the Europeans who get the Disney option.
ok.. yea that kind of makes sense seeing as a bunch of canadiens have been talking about booking it themselves...
yeah I'm about 95% sure of this, but I've been that sure before on here before someone posted I was wrong lol.
as i understood in the information (disney package) canadians have to book their flights.. the rest of us (im mexican) have the option that disney books our flights and we have to pay them as soon as we arrive.. or have it discount it in the paycheck... hope it helps.. teresa
