Flights with STA Travel...

Just how long does it take for the email confirmation to come through?

I booked 2 weeks ago and I've still heard nothing...

 

Hi - I booked my flight over the phone last week and I had an email from them as soon as I came off the phone, you may be best giving them a call

dont worry, when i had to ring to change my booking my new confirmation didnt come through so i rang them back (3rd time in about 4 days ) and it only took about 30 seconds to sort out, no worries

 

Nothing but hassle! 4 times I had to call today to get them to send me the confirmation over...the first guy was SO rude and the girl realised my email address was spelt wrong. So she sent me it...then I realised my surname is spelt wrong so I had to call AGAIN to tell them to change it and the guy was like "Caroline isnt here, phone tomorrow." and HUNG UP.

UGH!

 

I rang them about 3 or 4 times the day i booked my flights and I'm going to have to ring them again now! They put Ms instead of Mr on the confirmation forms, said they would change it but still haven't, in my recent confirmation!
I think the tickets still say MR, but i wanna double confirm that cos i don't want to risk it!

I didn't have any problems with them being rude but then i was always speaking to Caroline? ???

 

how rude!!!!!! urgh what a cheek!!!!! Im so glad i booked my own fight now.... i wouldnt have had the patience to put up with all that!!!!!

 

Sta r crap. Ther prices are stupid. If u wana get cheaper, get it yourself, they make out theyr doin u big favors, but they jst complicat8 thngs. That caroline women is nice, bt she basicaly jst reserved a virgin flite, wen i didnt even ask her. Virgin r doin ther own flites cheaper. wel frm manc anyways

 

I've paid my flight in full....should my ticket have been with my confirmation?

 

No its just an emailed confirmation that u booked and paid for ur flights basically!

For me STA were cheaper by like a tenner, so not bhrillaint but still its all done now, and managed to get a group booking for a few of us that know each other so were all together to for us its worked out well, part form this Mr and Ms business, but hopefully that shall be sorted!
