    Hi,
I'm thinking of applying to CRP for around October next year (not 18 till then :-[) and was wondering about flights, do you have to pay for yours out there or are they paid for you? May end up being expensive gap year/holiday surrounding by all the parks!
Also wondering if they are very strict with the 18 limit or will they let you go just a little bit before you turn 18?
    Thanks! ;D

I believe they are pretty strck about the eighteen rule but I have heard that you pay for your ticket down and at the end of the program they reimburse you lol

Hey guys I got a question.
I'm from Italy and I'm supposed to fly to WDW this coming February.

I was checking flights and I noticed that roundtrips are cheaper than one ways.
Now is it a problem if I book a roundtrip flight (e.g. from Feb. 4th to Mar. 4th) and once I'm there in Orlando I don't actually use the return ticket?
People from Internaional Services told me that they can take care of the flight (they can book it, but of course I gotta pay it before I leave), still I guess they would eventually book me a one way ticket, which means a lot more money :p

    What do you guys think?

Hey I'm working for some airlines in Amsterdam. It is not a problem for not taking the return flight. They will cancel your whole booking, but that's not a problem for you because you will not take a later flight in you itinerary.

Be careful!! You have to pay if you are no-show on an earlier flight in your itinerary. Just watch:
    FCO-MCO : Flying
MCO - FCO: Not flying (no problem you don't have to pay extra)

    FCO - MCO: Not flying
MCO - FCO: flying (now you have to pay extra because you were NO SHOW on FCO-MCO earlier)

If you have more questions just ask.

    Greetings,
    Jason

I think I understand your example.. I mean I'm in the first case.. 'cause to start working in Orlando I actually gotta fly there from Rome..

So no problem at all if I don't take the return flight.. the plane will take off from Orlando without me and land in Rome not caring if I'm on it or not.. is that correct? And I'll pay 400€ instead of 1.400€.
This thing that one way flights cost way much more than roundtrip ones is so insane to me!

    But what about the Visa?
I mean when I get the job I'll be given a 13-months lasting Q1 Visa.. will there be any problems if they see I got a return flight booked one month after my arrival in Orlando?

Anyway thanks Jason. You've been very clear!

Shouldn't be. The visa allows you to work out there for x amount of time. It's not compulsory for you to do so though. For all they know you're popping back for a family wedding or just to visit to stop yourself getting home sick.

I know that those one-way flight fares are crazy! :( I was looking for some airfare for my program but I know for sure I will take a retourticket. ;)

    I got another question..
Let's just say that at some point I got tired of working for Disney, so I quit the job.. or I do something wrong and I get terminated. Suppose this happens after a month I'm there.. given that my working visa expires the moment I quit the job or I'm fired.. can I still count on my passport allowing me to stay in the States for 90 days?

I mean can I actually stay there for another couple of months?

I'm considering to book a roundtrip ticket with a return flight after 90 days.. so that in case I don't like the situation I can still get back home without paying any extra money for a return flight :p

No, if you get terminated, you have 48 hours to leave the country. I think it´s the same if you quit.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know that my dad is a Travel Agent and he could maybe help you all out in finding either a good deal or just with booking the flights. :) Not sure where you all are, we're in Ottawa, ON Canada, but you could do it over phone/email with him easily.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to "advertise" or "promote" or something! Not what I'm doing at all! Just offering help since I know what you're going through and my dad helped me out when I went through the same thing! :p ;D
