Well good afternoon to all iv just returned from a perfect week with my girlfriend in Florida.. shes doing the full year course currently if you dont already know our fairytale story of true love haha i saw where she lives, where she works and met MANY of her friends.. and i have to say... now i am SO EXCITED and everyone else should be too... The place itself is lovely and i had an amazin time.. the housin at the commons is really nice i thought.. spacious, clean and set in ideal surroundings.. security is so tight that u dont have to worry at all.. emma's work (the rose and crown) seems fun.. theres plenty of banter and a variety of interesting things always going on there.. like a soap haha and all of her mates are really nice.. i was welcomed with open arms.. theyd all knew a lot about me before i got there which made it easier... but they all seemed very genuine and just friendly.. shes made great mates out there... i visited a few places where i COULD be stationed as a lifeguard when i go in May.. and let me say.. if im lucky enough to placed at the Grand Floridian ill worship Walt everyday haha its AMAZING.. im obviously GUTTED im home now and iv left my gorgus girlfriend behind BUT iv just bought my next flight ticket.. goin in March for a week again.. refuse to wait until May to see her smile again!!!!! if any1 has any quietions about my experience im more than happy to try and answer ;D

If its after the 14th you may have the opportunity of meeting me (even tho i know i will meet you for sure when you arrive there as a cast member!) I’ll be the little scared looking one who wont have a clue what she’s doing or where she’s going as will be a newbie!!!

security is no way tight by any stretch of the imagination. i stayed in the commons for a week when i came on holiday. i jumped the fence at night. i also did at christmas. when i was terminated, i wasnt meant to be on property at all, but one day i was at the clubhouse talking to susie about my car having a flat tyre, then the head of security came to us, susie told him my problem and he gave me a lift down to where my car was and fixed it for me. he asked if im enjoying the program and sed he'll see me soon. little did he kno, i was terminated 3 wks previous. after being termed, you're not allowed to be signed into any of the housing complex's. but i was. they are clueless. i even gave them my Florida driving license once as ID which had my commons address on. actually, one night, i was going to be signed in, and the guy, forgot his name, just let me drive in without doing any paper work or seeing my ID. crazy people.
i was working in the chipshop in the uk one day, a guest said the prices were a rip off when i told him much his food was, i said, as a joke, 'welcome to the rip off chippy'. the guest laughed, then he paid the money and wallked off. end of story. BUT, one of the idiotic managers (if you can see this david, yes, you are a twat), heard what i said, then went and told another manager in the kitchen, who then told him to get my ID and suspend me. 10 mins later, came into the chippy, asked me to go upstairs, we had a debate about it, resulting in being suspended for 5 days. 5 days in which i was calling anyone and everyone to do with anything to help me not get terminated. i called brad rex, the president of disney, and told him everything that had happened too. despite all my efforts, i got terminated by the bitch megan who is manager of uk and canada. i heard that they were just going to scare me and teach me a lesson by suspending me, then they were going to bring me back to work. but, apparently, because i called brad rex, he then called the manager and said id made a complaint against them (what i said was how corrupt the management was, theres too much favouritism and victimisation going on), then due to me complaining to brad rex, they termed me. if thats true, it just goes to show how corrupt and how pathetic disney are. diversity and freedom of speech? bull shit. yeah, saying what i said was wrong, but, EVERY SINGLE person has said something along those lines to a guest. people in the shops do, people in the pub do. it is actually pathetic. i loved living in florida though, and the people, thats what hurt the most when i got terminated. i was told on the night i arrived, the job is rubbish and what keeps you there is the people, and that is 110% right. anyone in disney right now will tell you that. so thats why i got terminated! lol

I cant believe they termed your for something like that i mean you could have said a lot worse!And you worked so hard to stay there but thats managment of a big company all over!Still cant wait to go though!
ellen, you big tart, i was asked a question! yeah guys, have fun out there. try and get on the managers good sides. that way you have a better chance of surviving! but be careful, scott is a very sly character. VERY sly. he acts like he's your friend, then he stabs you in the back. it is a joke, but dont let work get you down, enjoy all your free time! dan
there are so many places to visit in florida, lot of things to visit, lot of things to eat!! Florida is one of the best state of the usa i think!!!
