well i think its 40% off rooms, but that could change... there are guests passes, that allow family in, but there are rules, that i can never remember
When does this come into effect?? I mean, I am going on icp, so when can I actually book my family's vacation?? Not til I get there??
No you can't book anything before you get there. When you arrive you'll get a password for the hub, which is where you make reservations for hotels. The discount varies after the seasons. If you're on the year long program you'll get to let in up to 3 friends/family members up to 12 times a year, if you're on the summer program I think you can let them in 6 times or something. You'll also have 20% discount on merchandise in the parks and in many restaurants.
If you know someone already out there though they can use family and friend discount to book for you ahead of time...
okay, so i am doign the summer program, so i can use it for four people for six times, so for hotel it would be 6 nights? and is it for sure 40% ? because that is alot
Hotels and Merch are unlim. discounts. It's park passes that are tricky. Someone told me something about 9, 3 day passes.
From what I've read before on this forum, it is about 40% for resorts bookings, plus the gate passes, which lets you let people into the park for free on 6 days, 3 people per day. on top of that is the merch discount and a food discount...
yea thats right for summer program. u can get family and friends in up to 6 times. each time you use your pass it takes away one of the 6 times. Each time you get up to 3 people in. even if you only want to get 1 person in you will still use up one of your 6 times. Resort discount is UP TO 40% off for family and friends. You can only book a maximum of 5 rooms for family and friends in one year (i dont know if they moniter and check this). You will need to take your Disney ID to the front desk sometime between 1 and 10 days before your guests arrival dates and they will note on your booking that you have been in. This means you dont need to be there when they check in. Resort discount is UP TO 50% off if you are staying in the room and there is no limit to how many rooms you book throughout the year. You need to be the person checking in. You could take your chances and pretend you are staying in the room to get your friends a bigger discount, but remeber you wont know your working schedule until like a week before. You could be working on the day your friends arrive and im sure they wont be thankful making them wait until 5am when your shift has finished to check them in! ;D Merch is 20% off at most locations. Full service food and beverage is 20% off but if you use your discount 18% tip is added automatically, effectively giving you 2% off and leaving no tip. You dont tend to get any discount on quick service apart from at very select locations. You get various discouns at other companies like 10% off at the mcdonalds and earl of sandwich at downtown disney, 10% off the chevron garage by vista way, 10% off golden corral, discount at cicis pizza. Pick up an Incredible Discounts book at many backstage locations or check the hub when you get there... phew!
hi - during the months oct to end of jan its actually 65 % off hotels and at some points of the year its 50 % and then the peak season so the summer months is 40 %.!! I know this is what applies for people there for a year for definate Hpe this helps x
Random discount tip... If you're getting drinks/chocolate/goofy's candy co./sweets etc. at the Magic Kingdom, get it at the Confectioners on Main Street USA. It's classed as a merchandise location, so you get 20% off, even though you're getting quick-service food items, technically. Woo!
