Failed summer exams??

Hey guys,

Just had the worst exam ever and dont know bout everyone elses uni but Swansea make you come back and resit the last week of August....im positive i failed and was wondering if anyone knows what Disneys policy is if you have to fly home early to resit? (for me itd only be about a week early)
oh god i dont want to do that.... :'(

sorry hun im not sure. i know if i fail any of my assignments goin on the year placement as soon as im back i have to do the assignment again in so many weeks or they send it 2 me in florida to redo and i email it so hmmf

over here in Canada they put a big fat F on your transcript and tell you to come back the next semester or year for a second go. It has never happened to me yet tho. Best of luck to you Ki!!

I'm in the same situation. Almost certain ive failed one of mine and i think the re-sits are early august. Will just have to wait and see i suppose!

thanks alot guys for the support, its a horrible feeling! im the worst at exams at the best of times but today was exceptional, even for me! :-[
i know core modules have to be resat if less than 40 % and today i definitely got less than 40, just wonder if it constitutes extenuating circumstances? ....who knows, im sick of worrying about it now...
i have my fingers and toes crossed that i dont have to come back early :'(

I was thinking the same, i have passed everything so far, and i think i could just fail one exam. Its only a 10 credit one so if i wasnt gonna do the resit coz im in usa they may say that i have to take 130 credits next yr instead of 120 to make up the failed exam? Dunno really, just a thought?

 

Ki im in the same position there is a gonna b at least 1 resit, and i dunno wot 2 do about it!

I sent Alexis an e mail earlier, and what she said was if you had to leave as the uni couldnt supply u with an alternative, Disney will let u go, but like we all know as soon as u terminate ur working contract u hsve to leave the states in 24 hrs cos of ur visa, then if u ever decided to reapply to Disney at a later date ur status would be negative as u didnt finish ur contract of employment. But it is doable.
I guess knowlege is power so hope anyone whos in the same situation oas me feels a bit better having an idea about what happens now.

Positive thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have just finished mine and although i think i did ok i am still worried as i would miss all the resits!!! But i am going with positive thinking and i'm sure everything will be ok!!!!!
