Yep, I very recently acquired facebook and got addicted to it! There are tonnes of groups I'm in that are active and about Disney (however, they're mostly CP'ers) but I'd love to add some Internationals!

    Never heard of bebo,
But bebo looks confusing and less in depth.

    Cultural difference?

yet another one of things is hi5.com, which i quite like, facebook seems to be mainly uni peeps.

I have a hi5 too - but it has a lot of creepers on there. I get annoying emails a billion times a day (well... almost ;D) from strange people trying to add me or add me on msn or spam or just really creepy messages. That's one of the things I like about Facebook - it's a little more exclusive - only highschool students and Uni students, although I'm neither as of now :p

Facebook is constantly adding new "regional areas" for people who aren't in school. And they have tons of work networks too. And you can still be part of the network, even if you've graduated/left a school. You're just marked as an alumni.

Dosen't hi5 have all sorts of spyware?

    I can't believe I'm defending Facebook!!!!

Haha, me neither. But that's what you get when your school is population 200 and it's in the middle of absolute nowhere!
