So, I was just curious as to how many groups there were on facebook, either official, or unofficial relating to this program, CRP, that is. Also, I was thinking about this - I mean, We all (Most of us) drink, we all do stupid things, and make embarrassing faces..What are the odds that someone from YJ, or WDW, sees them, and it changes their opinion of you? I know I like to have fun, and rarely think about the consequences of what goes on facebook. Not that I do anything really wild anyways, but you get the idea.

I personally never would put anything that would make me look bad up, for I was told by a employer that it was becoming common for employers to look on sites like facebook and myspace to see what the true person is. Apparently if you work with children they will look at it and if you are drinking or anything that will tarnish the company's image they won't hire you, I found this out when I worked for a summer camp in the states, 3 days into training the directors of the camp told us all that we had 24 to take all "pictures of stupidity" (drinking, smoking, etc) off our sites for they were going to search for everyone and if you had anything that goes against their image then they would fire you.
So it is easier to just not put anything up that you wouldn't want your grandmother to see.

Well, I generally have my privacy settings up anyways, but If I joined a group, they could see it, so I'm a little weary joining an official group for YJ, because then they could see my full profile could they not? I mean, there's nothing illegal or anything, its usually just me having a good time.

I dont think you have anything to worry about with facebook or facebook groups! lol I highly doubt YJ even has the time to check it at this moment because they're so busy! I've heard they take peeks at these boards too! Who knows!

I mean yes, you probably shouldn't have anything illegal on your facebook lol but having a good time it totally fine, just be yourself - you'll be great!

As a general rule, I think it's best to keep your profile as if someone could see it. It is true that more employers are starting to use social networking sites to find out more about the applicants, but if your privacy settings are on, they shouldn't be able to access your profile. I don't believe you can see someone's profile even if you have joined a group, you pretty much have to be a friend, and even then, you can still customize it to show certain information.

I think most people know that everyone likes to have a good time, whatever that may be for that person. I don't think there's anything to worry about! :)

Haha, thanks for the advice, Generally, I don't add the things that could get me in 'trouble', and I'd hate to have to go through and remove photos, or ask people to. I'll just keep my privacy settings up, and my fun to a minimum :p
