for the f2f can people go with you (like parent or something) into the building and wait somewhere....obviously i dont mean into the interview room or anything but is there a place for a relative/friend to wait or is it strictly you in the building only???

Ermm it's strongly advised that you don't take someone with you i think...my friend was telling me that someone turned up with their parents and it was frowned upon as you aren't showing you're independance! That same girl didn't get the job but the f2f is pretty much a full day i think as there are work shops and things going on as well!! I will probably get someone to come with me to the building, but then as i go in they go back to hotel or whatever. They want you to meet new people, so i wouldn't encourage it.

My mum came with me down to London n cried wen i went in lol. She also didnt want to wait inside because she thought that it would effect my chances of being hired... However I told her to stop being silly n wait for me in the lobby and they were very happy to have her there... I got the job and I'm going in September. It's not guna be a problem for you to have a family member with you so never think that it is. Just shine in ur interview n ull b fine :D

I remember someone at my interviews having their parents with them. The girl asked if it was ok if they waited downstairs and the Yummy Jobs guy said they were welcome to come into the presentation if they wanted to... so I don't think it's a problem if you bring family with you... just remember the majority don't bring anyone so you might feel a bit awkward around everyone else if you had family with you.

aw thats really sweet! i bet she's really proud of you now! im not ashamed of my parents i just dont really talk to them much so it would be hard for disney to jsut pop into conversation with them...i dont want to travel up on my own for the interview cause knowing me i'd get lost and panic
good to have someone around though if you have a late interview in the day cause i think if i was on my own id drive myself insane!

At my first interview back in March I really could'nt bring anyone with me, unfair to ask someone to pay for flights and stuff. When I got to the interview I met up with people from the forums, we had planned to in advance, they went out for dinner the night before but I went to see 'Avenue Q' with a friend who was putting me up.

Anywhoo after form filling and presentation we sat on some really comfy sofas and talked until it came to our interview times, after my interview I sat around for another 2 and a half hours just chatting. Its easy to start talking to people there because you all have the same thing in common.
