Hi, I've been accepted to do UK merch in December 2008-2009 and thought I'd ask you guys who are already there to tell me a little bit about it! I applied to do f&b but this was the position I was offered, and I'm not stupid enough to turn it down for being my second choice!! You'll be a lot better off in Merch. I applied for F&B and got F&B, but the only reason I did that was because I thought it was my best shot of getting over there as I had F&B experience. My first choice in my head was Merch, and I wish that I had said that at my interview in Hammersmith. I believe it would of made my time at Disney far more enjoyable. Most of my friends were in Merch, the people that I still talk to now were in Merch.
congrats for getting in Well just to let u no everyone in the UK pav are wikid people all amazinglly nice I worked in F&B The hours for the world showcase arent until about 10-11 am as it doesnt open until then U could be working all types of hours when its extra magic you could be there until 1 am
world showcase opens at 11am, so either a little bit before that or at 11, but if u were to do shorter hours, maybe start at 1 or 2 o clock etc

Everything gets boring from time to time, but most of the time you'll have a right laugh. Don't let it go by too fast because it probably wont come round again.
