Anyone else going to the Edinburgh interview in June ?

unoless they've done the program kid... not many ppl who'll be doing the cruise will be on this thing!

I have an interview in Manchester on Monday the 14th. :-\

Errr. I got an unexpected phone call from DCL today. Just thought you should know so you can be prepared

They just asked a few questions about work experience, points about the job and that.

Well just back from my interview and it went really well, they mostly focused on my previous disney experience in epcot.....so will just have to wait 2 weeks to see if i get it or not to start in November they said.

What else did they ask you about EPCOT then?

 

Mostly like what special things did you do for kids ? A time you went out of your way to help a guest.
What were the 7 guest service guidelines ( which you will only know if you worked for disney before ) that is why he asked me.
It is mostly them focusing on negatives in the interview like work 7 days a week for 6 months 12 hours a day , very hard just to make sure you understand before you go.

 

Erm... What 7 guest service guidelines? I don't remember that lol. Is that just for GR?

 

No because I went for f&b server.............If you worked for Disney before you get taught them and they must ask every ex cast member to see if you took it all in......
The 7 guest service guidelines are -

1. Make eye contact and smile!
2. Greet and welcome each and every guest
3. Seek out guest contact
4. Provide immediate service recovery
5. Display appropriate body language at all times
6. Preserve the “magical†guest experience
7. Thank each and every guest
