Re: Anyone who has done Quick Services f & b, are we allowed to accept tips?? Quick service is not a tipped position so you're not allowed to accept tips. It the guest offers it to you three times however, you have to take it but you're not allowed to keep it.
Re: Anyone who has done Quick Services f & b, are we allowed to accept tips?? Ermmmm.....why would someone tip a quick service CM? It's fast food, not table service.
Re: Anyone who has done Quick Services f & b, are we allowed to accept tips?? Well, some people do! I recieved tips several times in QS...
;D i imagine ppl tip pretty well down there cuz everyone is all happy and feeling extra generous...that or they don't tip well cuz they've already spent a fortune on their Disney vacation thus far lol
It all depends on where they're from! British people are famous for not tippin well, norwegians doesn't either. And the funny thing is that the busier you are the more they tend to tip, even if you don't have too much time for each table
Do a lot of people tip overtop if they are on the Disney Dining Plan... I know that the gratuity is already figured out in the price, but I didn't know if people still left money...The last time my family and I went we always left them more money but I'm not sure if that was just because I'm in hospitality and I just think to do that kind of thing.... How much on average would you say you would be able to make in a night?
Some people tip on top of the dining plan, that's why it's important to give them excellent service even though the gratuity is included. Some servers doesn't care about tables with dining plan because they get tipped anyway. It all depends on where your work location is. You can't compare how much you would be tipped against what I got, because the norwegian restaruant is a character dining with the princesses, so they tend to tip more because of that. But we made an average of $200 a day... Sometimes more in busy periods.
Holy Doodle that's awesome! I'm obviously not going to bank getting that much off the bat or anything but that is awesome to have something to work for! Thanks a bunch for the info! It helps a lot!
You are allowed to accept tips if you are a server/waiter in a full service restaurant. In all other roles you are not meant to accept them.
Ah right yeah, that's what I thought, and we keep the tips we collect for ourselves? Or does it go in one big collection then gets split up between all staff?
You mean tipping others? Yes, we had to tip the bar and if we had a foodrunner, but we could choose not to or tip less if that person did a poor job. Some pavilions also have people that clean tables for them that they have to tip also... You keep your own tips yourself
