Duty Free Alcohol allowed?

Just wondering.. Are you allowed to bring a small amount of alcohol ( say vodka :) with you on arrival when you get to orlando? Surely it would be cheaper then getting some from Wal Mart

The supermarkets are cheap for booze, real cheap

 

Of course you'd still need to be over 21 one when you're there to actually be allowed to have it.

Also WalMart don't sell spirits, you need to get them from a liquor store, which can be an adventure initself.

(when we were at tree houses it took us 3 hours one day to use free transport to get vodka, it was awesome).

they have it on draft in epcot for about $8 a pint, or i also found bottles of strongbow at earl of sandwich at downtown disney

coz its an import i guess ??? i did pay it a few times to be honest coz i do love a nice pint of strongbow

Yeah IDs the place to go for you liquors, although the british beer is more expensive, if you can get hold of it of course, you tend to miss the good beer when u get the weak american stuff,lol

 

Gotta love some strongbow cider mixed with a good lager. I can't get enough of those.

 

Add some blackcurrent to the mixture and you're even more sorted. Mmmm pikey student drinks...

I've tried it on a few of my american friends and they only ever manage 2-3 pints, although they can drink 8-9 pints of the watered down beer over there and be fine. I did find that it was still relatively cheap for a pint, especially in the Disney Resorts, i stayed in both the Polynesian and the Port Orleans and it was never more than $4.50 so about £2-2.50 these days, not bad!

 

or $1 if its a weeknight after 10pm and u go to planet hollywood ;D ;D ;D

i dont like beer but for $1 i couldnt say no!

yup, its an offer just for cast members so u may have to wait til u go back to work to take up that offer

 

awww shame, we get it for that price in the 'Drink the Bar Dry' nights here in Brighton Uni, always good fun

 

When I was over in January a few of the Wall Marts had Liquor stores as part of them. I usually hate drinking beer, but Bud tastes so much better over there and also Milwakee Best is really nice.

 

For $1 a pint I would quite happily 'think' its cider and drink it ;D
