Drugs in the commons????!!!!!????????

A girl say me that some people have been terminated for drugs, so I would like to know if it's a very big problem in the commons?

I can't understand the guys which smoke drugs for fun, coz I really Think the idea of being in florida for me it's the fun, not drug!!

I'm really sad to know there is some drugs problems in the commons, BUT OF COURS I ALWAYS WANT TO GO lol

Yes.... Canadians did weed and pills... and of course drinking. No apartment in the Commons was complete without an impromtu bar on top of the fridge.

If I'm not mistaken... I'm from Toronto, Ontario.... many BC Canadians brought weed or had access to it. Anyone not familiar with Canadian culture... marijuana is grown in the west coast province of British Columbia and exported... mostly to the states. The authorities are focused on larger grow operations... but small time growers and sellers are ignored.

My experience in the Commons was like this... "Hi I'm Marte from Norway." ... "Oh, hi I'm Charlene from Canada!".... "From Canada? Got any weed?" ... "No, but ask Suzie, she's from the westcoast."

So yeah... there's drugs. Damn, there's anything you want at the Commons.... any level of partying you like... you just have to ask around. Then... on the other hand... there's just people who are clean-living and don't care to party at all. So, again... it's whatever you make it.

According to eastern Canada, BC is the pot capital... and I've never smoked it in my life.

There's more out in BC than weed...

 

hey don't worry about it you will get drugs anywhere you go i'm sure, but I have nothing to do with it and it doesn't stop me from having a good time ;

So I am from Victoria BC....Not only do I live in BC, But I live on the Island!!!!!!!
Anyone else from the Island will know... that yes oh yes.... there is pot!

But it all depends, there are the potheads, who smoke everyday all day and then there are those who certainly do not!
Not all Canadians are like that especially not all from BC ( most but not all )lol

Anyway looking forward to meeting the ones who think thats all we do!

Lol, I was thinking earlier that the island has a reputation that the Vancouverites see that's similar to the BC reputation eastern Canada sees, but I dont think everyone one the island is constantly high. I dont make those assumptions.

Plus, might I remind all these canadians on here that the biggest pot bust in Canadian history was in
BARRY, ONTARIO. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

 

I (obviously) don't do any drugs or drink and what not, so I'm not worried about ME getting termed, but the thing that does kinda scare me if how if your room mate has an illigal substance or booz YOU can get termed!
I mean, I will make it VERY clear to my room mates thats I don't want that in our apartment but if I don't know about it and then they get caught I could still get termed for it? YIKES!!!
I'd hate to be the prat who goes tattleing on everyone and being a meanie about "no, you can't drink in here" but I guess I'll have to

 

Yeah that situation would suck royally.

It happened not so long ago with a friend of mine whose roomie was blatantly taking drugs in their apartment. He asked him to stop a few times and after a while he told security.

I would have done exactly the same thing. It's all well and good making friends, but you don't want to be the one chatting to them on the plane home!

 

so how do you do it anyway? when you get there everyone is new in the apartment? or you can arrive to an apartment filled out and you will be the only one new there??

since your first day you should talk with your rommies about whatever you are going to allow parties, alcohol "drugs??" or not in the apartment?

Majority of the time, you will be in with people who have been here a while. As far as alcohol etc...if you're in wellness...don't drink in the apartment. Any apartment...don't do drugs IN the apartment. Just common sense and consideration for your roomies.

about drugs, well i think that in all places, in all contrys you are going to meet people that do drugs, i dont see a problem to have some near, and to share parties with them, just all is about respect

I do like the way that you think tatiana, it doesn't mean that i do drugs, however i think everyone can live the life in the way that they feel is better.
