Just wondering if anyones knows what the footwear you have to wear working F&B in the Canadian pavilion?
there is a shoe bus that comes to Epcot that you can buy shoes from, or else walmart works too but they wear out and kind of suck. they are just black, non-slip, lace up shoes... if you got the dough I'd invest in some good shoes, as you will be on your feet and moving all day everyday always. Don't worry about it until you're there though, you'll have a few days to buy them after they give you all the info
A shoe bus? bahahahahaha. Random question about Canadian pavillion....Does anyone know how long it takes to work your way up to serving in food and bev??
Totally depends!! If they are over staffed it could take up to 6 months or more type of deal. My first contract I didn't get into service until 5-6 months in. Usually they say 3 months, however if they are short staffed and you show you know your stuff, it can be very quick!
Shoes: We recently had Disney provide us with shoes. I am not sure what happens when the new people come and how you get them but Disney should be providing you with shoes if your are going into Food and Bev. Service: Right now 'technically' you have to wait 3 months before you can take your tests to get into the whole service route. There have been times when the 3 months have been waived because we are short staffed in service. It honestly just depends on the pavilion.
Oo, sorry, thread crasher here , but do you know if they've done this in the UK too? There was a rumour just before I left that they were going to, but I don't know if they have or not.
