I'm ICP participant and a girl, and I heard I have to prepare a formal dress for party
and also there are some rules of clothes when I attend classes.
Because in my country, there are no cultures which are related with party,
like wearing a dress or formal suit, I don't know what kind of dress
do I have to buy, and also how many do I have to buy.
What style of clothes do I have to prepare before I arrive in Disney?
Do I have to wear a formal suit when I attend classes?
What kinds of clothes you guys wear when you guys attend classes?
White shirts and black skirts or pants?
And also what kinds of shoes when cast members work in theme park?

And how's internet access in disney dorm, and
how much cost when I use a washing machine?
Do I have to buy a router?

And I want to know whether there is a lunch time while I'm working, and
usually you guys how to prepare every meals in dorm, like buying and cooking foods.

Also, I wear glasses, do I have to prepare one more in advance?
    and what about sunglasses?
I'm wondering that whether I have to buy sunglasses or not, because
I heard because of the sunlight, sometimes people feel uncomfortable or hurt with their eyes.

    And how about bank account?
I'll open a new bank account in NY, and the bank might be a local bank which
is in a town of NY that I'll stay for 3months.
Can I use that bank account in disney for receiving paychecks every week, too?
If I use that in disney, do I have to pay some money when I use ATM machine in Oralando?
    Which one will be better?
Using a bank account of NY in disney, too or removing a bank account of NY and
making new one in orlando, (I mean, in disney)?

How's the weather in orlando, especially in summer and fall and winter.
Because I have to stay in NY from Sep. 14th to December 4th,
I wonder how many and, what kinds of clothes do I have to pack in my country.

So sorry for asking a lot of questions,
however, I hope I can see some replies :)

And all replies will be very helpful before I move to disney.

    HAVE A NICE DAY :)

Hi! Right... I'll do my best...

Formal clothes: For the CRP program that I'm doing, there were I think three days of classes/inductions where I had to wear business casual dress. I'm not sure its the same for ICP, this would be a good question to ask your recruiter. By business casual they do mean things like smart trousers/skirt and a blouse.

With the dress thing, I think Disney/the housing company occasionally throw formal parties. You just need a nice dress!

Shoes. Depends where you're working. They're pretty strict on them in some locations, in others they're not! I know for food and beverage you need plain black, non-slip.

In the Commons where I am, every apartment has internet access in with the cost of the rent. I should think its the same with Vista or wherever you will be staying for your ICP. You just need an internet cable and your laptop/computer!

Washing machines... not sure. My apartment has a washing machine and dryer, some complexes you have a communal one.

You will have breaks, the amount depending on how many hours you work. You can either prepare your own food, or eat at the canteens which are very reasonably priced.

Glasses have to be in the disney look, although mine aren't technically and nobody has said anything. They send you info about the disney look once you have a position, but basically its plain & conservative for glasses.

I know where I work sunglasses aren't allowed. I don't think they're allowed anywhere as it prevents eye contact with your guests.

With bank accounts you can have your pay put into whichever account you choose. You are given an account with Partners, but many people choose to get another account as Partners charge for some things you might need quite regularly like taking money out of ATM's.

There's a section on here about weather, but as far as I can gather it gets cold enough in the winter that you may need a jacket. Don't pack too much as everything is very cheap out here! But pack enough that you will be able to cope if you can't buy stuff here for a while! There's a packing checklist on this website that i used :)

    See you soon! x

  3. In custodial we were allowed sunglasses as long as you could still see your eyes through the lenses.

I saw packing checklist in website, however, because there's no party
in my country, I don't know what does evening wear outfit for the formals means.

Does that outfit means kinds of cocktail dress for women?

If that dress means cocktail dress, can I wear not closed heels in a party?
(Not in a class, I mean, normal party to enjoy time with other cast members.)

And also, I saw I have to pack dress clothes/skirts.
That means, while I'm attending classes, I have to wear formal clothes, I think.
    Is that right?

Oh, can I wear both a shirt or a blouse with smart trousers
(do smart trousers mean trousers that are wore by women in a company?)
and a one-piece dress which are wore by women in a company
    while I'm attending classes?

Not in a party with other cast members, but in a class, I have to wear
    closed toe dress shoes, right?

Also, I think people will use air conditional a lot in summer,
however, Is a heater used in winter?

I know my questions will be looked silly for you guys,
    but plz reply :)

  5. For formal parties a cocktail dress is fine as are open toed/ heeled shoes :)
For classes, yes, you are right, it stuff that you would wear to work and they prefer close toed shoes. A blouse/shirt is fine too.
Air conditioning is definitely used in the summer, I don't know about the winter though as I haven't been out there during that time of year. I don't think it gets that cold though to need a heater. Rather, people buy extra blankets and jumpers.

In summer, can I wear sleveless shirt in a class?
Of course I'll wear smart trousers with it.
How about wearing sleeveless black or white dress in a class?
    Or non-sleeveless one?

if its the same as Traditions, short sleeves are ok but not completely sleeveless, unless u wear something over the top like a light cardigan, they prefer it if your shoulders are covered.

I recently bought my dress. I find a sense of humor very sexy. This Versace Jeans Couture t-shirt is very whimsical. I love the design.
