You get internet in your apartment yeah..You need a router i would have thought tho to make it wireless..

There was a topic on it before, but i can't remember which section it was in..There was quite a few people who are on here regularly who commented on it tho, so they will probably know better..

But it said how you set up the wireless internet and the cost of it and stuff, i don't think it cost much like..

Also if your having trouble with the internet in your apartment, you can go to the little room near reception in any of the accomodations from what i can remember and use the PC's there which have the internet..

Just to warn you though, the internet is pretty slow and the computers are pretty old, so i would advise you to take your laptop and use the one in your apartment if you can!

Last time I took a router. Will this time too. Lots of people have them though, so it's easy enough to just connect to someone else's wirless. Other than that, you just need to get the cord to plug into disney's regular router thingy if you don't have the wireless access.

There aren't to many people with Routers, and it's weird cuz it depends how many people are on, not everyone leaves it on, and a lot are secured cuz it slows down the connections.

You get Internet, just bring (or buy) a cable...I really don't feel a router is worth it. I can't actually connect to my friend in the next building so depends on your router strength...

There is no fee for internet, it's in your weekly rent, along with cable laundry machines etc. and the Managment Company is really good about replacing broken stuff, I got a new washing machine when I moved in, cuz ours was messed up!

I was at Vista last year and there were a ton of wireless routers available to connect to at the time. It's probably different now, can't know til you get there!

Definately depends where you are, Vista, Probably more true than the Commons

  7. How many places are there to plug the cable in? Can we plug it in in our room?

At vista there was one place to plug in. Disney has their own little router thingys. Ours was in the living room/kitchen area.

There is a central unit where there are 4 plugs.

if you get a cable long enough you definately can hang out in your room!

you'll want a surge protector and an adaptor for the mains part, I think the telephone wire is okay, but I'm not entirely sure on that one! But if there's a router and you go wireless then any wireless card is fine.

Yeah the cords are universal. It's an Ethernet cord. They look just like a telephone cord although the plugs on the end are wider.
