ok so i was listening in the presentation etc but ive been thinking and i dont know that answer to this question - someone who has already done the programme will be able to help better i should think?
When u hav family visiting are you allowed to stay out of your appartment over night? i know gusts have to be off disney etc by 1am but i was jus wondering cos my family are coming over at xmas to see me and mum wanted me to come stay with them in our house i jus didnt no what went on?? You are not allowed to have them stay in your apartment but if you want to go stay with them you are more then welcome especailly if you don't work the next day...i believe...if you work the next day i don't know how that would work, but if you have a day off then you should be able to

yeah nikkis right u can stay out of ur apartment but they cant stay in your apartment, u pay the rent on ur apartment so its up2 u whether u stay there over night.

u can have unlimited stays with family at discounted proces in disney hotels, and if they wanted to stay on their own or friends obv, u get 12 stays a year!

i may stay with my parents a few nights when they arrive in the first week of september, especially as they have an apartment with a jacuzzi haha, i wont b doin my washin that 2 weeks definately!

unfortuantly she is unable to stay in your appartment(overnoight.she can stay there untill 1 am.....she can visit you ;D ;D ;D and stay late,its sad that she cant stya in appartment...but as they say in interviews imagine if everyone there brought a friend to stay!! ;D

Yeah kelly- since you have to pay rent there anyway, it doesn't matter whether you stay with your parents or not. I'm certainly planning on doing it at least a few days when my parents come out to visit me. ;D
Re the park entry stuff-after you've been there 3 months you can sign up to 3 other people in per day, for 12 days of the year (don't have to be consecutive). But I think you can also get discounted ticket prices (not entirely sure about that ???)

Do you mean that we can get free tickets for our fds or relatives? Can I lend my discounted card to my fd who visit me? My fd asked me about it.
Do you know if they can get any kinda finge benefits as STAFF's fds or relatives?

 

No, we can't get free tickets for people, we might be able to get discounted ones. No, you can't lend your card to people. You can use it if you're eating with them or something, but you're not supposed to buy stuff for them, unless its a gift for them or something (so you can get round that!)

Hey, the bit about not buying stuff for people etc is right.. however in disney store we kinda get aroud it! lol.  If you come in with a friend or a friend comes in then we let them have our discount if they r paying by cash, that way their name doesn't show up on the receipt that has DISCOUNT and our ID number on it.  Tis a crafty way about it

If i tell u the bennefits we get working for Disney store u may get some idea of wot u'll get working for Disney world....

Free tickets to either USA or DLP (2 tickets in the summer and 2 in the winter)

Anniversary tickets (2 sets of DLP tickets on the anniversary of your start date... doubt this will happen in states though, although i heard somewhere we get free tickets at end of contract that dnt expire!)

Discount in other TDS stores, f+b and merch in US/Paris parks

Discount in the big Disney store in Downtown Disney

Up to 75% off hotels, u can't choose which hotels or amount of discount... depends on dates!

Hope that helps... it will obviously be a bit diff for Florida (such as getting discoount in McDonalds) but u get the general idea about hotels and using discount card!

I know nothing about Fringe benefits we have. I'm a bit confused. I wonder if we can get around to DIFFERENt parks FREE with our ID card? Do you mean that the free tickets are used when we are there. I wonder what TDS stands for[ Sorry. I have NEVEr been to Disney or the USA. I know very little about them] DO you know how much DIScount I will get in Disney store? Can I book the hotel for my fd to stay and get the discount?

TDS means "The disney Store"

apparently the discuont that we get varies between seasons, can be from 35 to 15 or something like that. And yea i think from wot Julie sed at interviews our card gets us in free to all parks, i think the hotel thing is ok: we book it and get our discount. Will have to check all this out when we get there! lol

What you mean is that we can BOOK for our fd who visit us? The disney does NOT allow us to buy stuff and get small discout for our fds. But it allows us to book hotels for our fds and get a big discount?

 

Technically we can only buy things for our friends as girfts, they r not meant to give us any money. I think that we can book hotels for our friends but am not sure on that, would have to check it out wen we get there! So yea... pretty much they'll let us get a big discount on hotels n stuff but only a little discount on merch and food!
