I worked in Canada in Food and Beverage and would do anything to get another chance to work at Disney again. Does anyone know if you can re-apply to work in a different area, such as gust relations, of Merch?? ~Mike~
Good question. I don't think uk people can (someone correct me on this please if I'm wrong) but not entirely sure about elsewhere.
Mike, it is worth you applying again cos canadians may be able to do the program again. i was told by a perm at in the uk pav that there were some canadians doing the program again, but i wouldnt know who it was or even if they had got that right. maybe it was someone who looked like an old cast member, but he was pretty sure. i think that anyone from any country can do guest relations again, as i think it is all about the visa. i guess that the Q-1 is a one time only visa, but the J-1 isnt. like i say im taking guesses at this but they are all guesses from what i have grasped from people in the past. is it working for disney that you loved so much Mike?? or is it the commons life?? i know that while i was out there a guy that one of the uk cst members knew came out and on a J-1 and got a job working at the sports cafe (cant remember the name) but he wasnt allowed to live at the commons, or vista, or chatham, he had to find his own accom. he was only out there for 3 months i think. ah pissing hell - i just typed this once and it logged me out and lost the message! a n y w a y .... when i arrived in 2001 there was a guy in the u.k pavillion called chris who was coming to the end of his contract and it was his second time there. i don't reckon the Q1 visa is restricted to once only because it's Disney's own made up visa. the officials at the airport call it the Quack visa and when i travelled anywhere, they used to pass my passport round so everyone could look at the "rare" visa. So being that it's their visa, i presume they can do what they want with it! it's definitely worth a try applying again, saying that though, i wouldn't, i had such a good time the first time that i wouldn't want to try and match it again! ;D
Hey Mike/Rob etc. I don't know about other countries, but I do know that Canadians CAN do the program twice! Do you remember Sam? A friend of her's is at the Commons as we speak doing her second contract. She did Food and Beverage the first time around, and now Merch I think. There's no way you could get me back in the Commons, but my advice to you is call Erik! Good luck! Jodi

The summer before I left for the IP I worked with a girl at a hotel here in New Brunswick that said she did the IP 4 times. She also said that she was the one who invented the Le Cellier seaters spiel "The restaurant is divided up....blah blah" I forget her name.....probably in her late 30's.
