hey guys. Just reading back on my e-mails from disney and it says i'm to meet them at the vista way welcome center on the day i arrive. Does everybody meet at this point or is this were i'll be living? i hope not, vista way seems to be out the way from the rest of the appartments on the photographs. Any answers would be a great help. andy x x
u dnt find out where ur living until u get there!! sucks but it can be a nice suprise ^_^ but ull no doubt be in commons or patterson!
Yeah for us guys its most likely to be the Commons. Vista isnt too far, your out the way a little bit, but the work buses leave so regularly between all the complexes and parks youd have to wait no more than 20mins for a bus and it takes 2 minutes to get there!. . or a nice 20minute walk! But for CRP we should most likely be in Commons. . as long as theres space!
Ah sweet. That puts my mind at rest. Does everybody have to meet at the vista way welcome center on their first day? Because that's were I have to go wen I arrive. I'm just excited to be there now. X x
yeah everyone goes to vista for a welcome meeting and find out where they are living and sign a few forms
They'll only put people (like me) if the commons is full when you arrive. However, there are a lot of people leaving and not many arriving so i'm sure you'll all go to the commons. i'm happy now in Patterson. Apartments are so much nicer
I so want to be in Patterson! I lived in The Commons my first contract and this time, I want a new apartment! sigh....
If they put you in the commons and you want to move to Patterson so badly then you can buy paying the regular $50 moving fee. If your in Patterson, you can't move to the commons though. Rent is a bit cheaper in Patterson but we have to pay for out laundry
What about the package you get in the mail from Florida? On the I-94 form it says, Address while in The United States (Me) And it says: 8050 Gables commons drive 2nd floor Is that just the disney HQs or, is that where I will be living?
Thats where the programs office is in the commons. . and everybody uses that address for visa purposes and the I-94 form. . if we're in commons we'll use that address and instead of 2nd floor we'll have our apartment number, or the address of patterson court. Though it isnt any indication of where we'll be living yet unfortunately :/
