You need to buy your own in some cases, in others your roomates have allready bought one.

You can bring your xbox but I know of 2 or 3 people who had xbox 360s stolen by roomates, and a few who had no problems with PS2s.

 

I was really really excited to bring my Super Nintendo. And about it being stolen - what is it worth? Like 20 bucks? lol maybe more since it's probably a vintage antique by now. In any case, I know I for sure want to bring it! I'll leave the PS2 - I'll miss it, but oh well. So I guess I shouldn't even think on bringing my Wii then, eh? I'm a gamer girl, not gunna lie, lol. But I'm confident I can live without them. I might go through a withdrawl, though, and try to re-inact a live-action Mario Kart. We'll see

Gives you something to do in the evenings i guess, i know people over there who get a few friends round for Madden or Pro Evo tournaments etc and have a blast so its a good social tool as well!

 

mariokart is the best thing EVER! i have a snes in my room that i ordered off ebay when i was drunk ages ago. waking up to find i had bidded and won a snes was like the best hangover ever!

I have my Nintendo DS here with me, and seriously I have had no time to use it. There is so much to do here, and between work and sleep I haven't even looked at it. Keep that in mind too, but if you can't live without it then definitely bring it.

 

I always used to play with my cousins, and them being so macho, they'd always be DK or Wario or Koopa. So of course, just to spite them, I was either Peach or Luigi. I mastered hairpin turns with Peach, let me tell you.


Yeah, I don't think I'll have all the time in the world to play them - I mean, I have Disneyworld to explore! Yeehaw!

 

Yeah you don't have a lot of time thats for sure... I had my DS and my PSP down there with me on my last trip and mostly played them at night before bed... This time only the DS is making the trip and I'm debating on my 360, I love playing some NHL 2k7 and could imagine I can find another Canadian SOMEWHERE that would enjoy the odd game .

Oh and no one beats Yoshi in Mario Kart

 

i wanted to bring my gamecube i love mario kart but it prob wont work over there with the differences in stuff so i wont bother was thinking of brining my gameboy tho and some games.

wii is so awesome im in so much pain after playing and i cant master that stupid fishing games on wiiplay!

my wii me looks just like me altho its offputting to watch ym mate playing and seeing me in the audience hehe

 

well all my nes snes and game boy are in my computer so i wont bother bringing along with me a console i love playing games all day but i guess i wont have time there to do that

 

the wii looks AMAZING, i really want to play that boxing day. also cant wait until mariokart is out on the wii! do you know when more wii is getting in stock in england, cos everywhere is sold out!

 

what is there in the bedrooms (furniture wise i mean) for example - do we get a bedside table/dressing table/mirror etc etc etc or is it pretty empty???

 

You get a bedisde table with 2 drawers, and you get a dresser with 3 drawers and a mirror (depending on how much of half your roomate gives you )

 

i dont know when they will be getting in more wii's i dont have one my best mates bro does lol but they live across the road from me and allow me to play on it.

some of the games are kinda hard tho or maybe im just mega clumsy hehe

 

Yeah we've got one in our uni house, amazing fun, we were lucky to get one i think!

 

aparently amazon have more stocks of Wiis in today, and also woolies and Asda

 

Definitely get one if you can, hours of entertainment, and its good exercise! My shoulders got a good workout with tennis and bowling all day

 

is it true that there is a boxing one that comes with it? hope so, sounds amazing!

 

Yeah you need the little nunchuck controller to work the boxing one properly, you can use it with the remote and they're your fists takes a bit of getting used to, but works pretty well, i've found the movement sensors are really accurate so far, fave game is the bowling tho, hands down

Could imagine some drunken nights at the Commons with it, get 4 people together and play doubles tennis or go bowling,lol
