I wonder if I have to know facts about Disney? When it started. Who build it. And other things, somebody who knows??
I dont think it is required but i think it helps if you know a little bit about, like who the creater was and when the first park opened and where, and so on!
I had my interview in Paris. So i printed all the disney stuff out of wikipedia and read it 3 hours in the train. it helped me a lot. at my interview they did a warm-up-welcome-round: They asked questions about disney and for the right answer you got a little present... - How many disney parks are worldwide? - which countries? - biggest one? - oldest one?
At the face to face interview they give you the basic info and tell you all about everything that Disney owns and basically what a huge company it is in a presentation. I don't think its like you're not gonna get the job if you don't know it all, afterall when you're out there you do traditions which is a day where you learn EVERYTHING about the company so they cant expect you to know everything already
TOP TIP: If you learn some some facts about WDW, you can win some Disney goodies!! Everyone has a good laugh, shouting out answers!
yeah its very interesting and the videos they play may make you wanna cry! not that that happened to me of course....
i've found a copy of one of the video on youtube. i don't know whether i should show it to everyone. it's quite nice seeing it for the 1st time with all your disney pals! if anyone wants the link, just PM and i'll send you a link.
