I have just returned from WDW IP where i was in UK f&b in Epcot!

I have an audition for dlp characters and parades in feb in London.

Does any one have any advice or tips or web links that will help me with audition?

I hoping to be a character (im 4 foot 11inches), but i have no real French skills apart from GCSE grade C,????

i worked at DLP for a bit in one of the restaurants. all of the brits i arrived with were going to be in the parade or characters and some of them knew no french what so ever.

generally if you're british and going to work at DLP everyone will presume you're in the parade!

    Hi

I did the Intl program at WDW in 98-99 and then spent 3 years at DLP starting off in merch and moving into the offices later. You really need some French if you are going to enjoy your time at DLP. I knew none when I got there and had a real shock. "onstage" is certainly English friendly but once you go backstage it's a different story. If your'e gonna work in the parade then you'll be fine with little French although I'd recommend you make an effort and visit the backstage language lab.

    Bon courage! ;D
