I have that interview too! In the London HQ at 10am? ;D
Did you apply for the ICP too, or is this your first time applying for a program?
I was unsuccessful for the WDWICP but I'm hoping to do a bit better this time :)

    Hey Danielle,

That's exactly when i have my interview too! I did not apply to any of the other programs you mentioned, this is my first time. How are you feel ing about it? Where are you from btw? Im flying down from Edinburgh for this interview! I take it ur hoping to work there this summer as well? Btw, if you have facebook, I recommend you join the Disney cast members group 2010... I met a girl from Finland on who has been giving me great advice :)

Good luck in case I dont hear from you!

Ah ok that's cool :) The Disney HQ's an amazing place, it has models and pictures of Walt and the characters everywhere!
I'm not getting my hopes up too much because I didn't get into the College Program and I don't want to consider going out there if I get rejected again. I think this interview is going to be slightly different though, obviously because it's in French hah, but I think it may be a bit shorter. I'll definitely have a look at the CM group on Facebook, thanks :)

I'm from the Cardiff area, I'm a first year in university there at the moment studying French and Spanish.

Hey Ben, yes I have recieved exactly the same email for the exact same interview next tuesday and I have been told the interview is to work there in the summer( couldnt possibly do any other period as im a student) I'm not sure that it's all in French, but I can find out as I have been in touch with a couple of people who have worked at Disneyland and it would be quite useful to know I guess! How are you feeling about it? Not long now! :S

Ya now its getting near im nervous/ excited as it Disneyland lol :) The thing that confused me was a while ago i had another email stating that they had postions for summer 2010 but in order to do go then i had to reply to the email by March 12th. I never replied as this summer would be too early as my french isn't on a good enough level by my opinion as of yet! Soz this stuff is all new too me  and is a bit daunting.

I see, so you don't want to go this summer? Maybe they are recruiting for after summer aswell or maybe they have chosen to ignore the fact you want to go later! Hmm... let me know if you think they're not still recruiting for this summer for any reason as I really dont fancy travelling all the way from Scotland only to be told I won't get a kob till after summer! And yeah, I'm sure you can tell I am finding this daunting too! I have a friend at Walt Disney World Orlando tho and he's been chatting to me... apparantly if you smile a lot in the interview, appear confidnt polite etc then they'll like you... but I guess that's fairly obvious anyway!

    Hi Ben :)
Apparently they ask questions like why do you want to work there in French, but I'm not sure if the whole interview's in French or whether some of it is English. I guess it depends a lot on your level.

How did everyone's interviews go? I'm going on holiday to Disneyland Paris in September so might see you working!

I thought the interview went ok, nowhere near as much French as I thought though, I think I only got asked one French question, maybe two. And then 3 or 4 English ones. Not sure if I'll have got it though, my interviewer didn't seem that enthusaistic but I'm still planning on a holiday to WDW if I don't get the job anyway ;D

Since I worked at DLRP for christmas and New Years 2009/2010...
There is not a specifical job you apply for, you could basically be doing anything in the parks and at the resort, so from a hotel to the Disney Village to attractions to food and beverage everything is possible.
I got acceptedt for Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, my roomies were in hotels, one in a shop on Mainstreet and one had been doing the parade (like not as a character, but taking care of the visitors and stuff... "Sur le trottoir, svp!" ;)) a friend of mine worked for "propreté", so basically picking up trash and answering questions... For this summer he got accepted at the railway, so now he's in attractions.
As you can see... it really is anything. Your job depends on your level of french, though- if you want to get into attractions for example your french has to be very good.

    Hope that helps :)
