Has anyone else heard? Disney Wonder is doing 2 special length cruises in September. The first is a 10 day one on the 7th Sept and then an 11 day one on the 17th Sept. They are both going to basically the same places: St Lucia, St Thomas/St Marten, St Kitts, Cataway, Barbados, Antigua. 10 day 1. Day at sea 2. Day at sea 3. St Thomas 4. St Lucia 5. Barbados 6. Antigua 7. Day at sea 8. Day at sea 9. Castaway Cay 10. Return home 11 day 1. Day at sea 2. Day at sea 3. St Thomas 4. St Lucia 5. Barbados 6. Antigua 7. St Kitts 8. Day at sea 9. Day at sea 10. Castaway Cay 11. Return home Really want to do the 11 day one it sounds fab.
i was sitting in the walt disney theatre when tom mcalpin (dont remember the name) announced the 10/11 day cruise... part of the crew was excited the other part just shook there heads and was dissappointed.. the intinary is good, but it's a lot of work and no raise of money on your paycheck. instead of a pay raise, they told the crew that every crew cabin gets a flat screen now.. whoa... : the crew won't even have the chance to enjoy the new ports.... just imagine all the days at sea.. : as a guest it's great - but what do u do with 4 days at sea? dani
OK well I've booked the 11 day one now on a whim (my Dad gets discount so works out 50% of price so yeah). Its going to be weird having 4 days on the boat still never mind. I hope there's lots more to do than the normal 4 day one. Bet the staff are going to be well tierd by the end of those days.
