    The best and the worst...

    Discuss!

I think Cinderella: A Twist In Time is a really good one. Perhaps one of the best. I also like Beauty and the Beast: An Enchanted Christmas.

Worst... maybe Hunchback of Notre Dame 2? To be honest I've liked most of the sequels... I just don't *love* them. Lion King 3 was entertaining but I couldn't watch it again and again like a timeless classic.

  2. No, I'm sorry. Your wrong. It is OBVIOUSLY High School Musical 2. :D :D :D

Lion King 3 is awesome..i like the second one as well, mainly cos they keep the ainmation style. i hate it when they change it for sequels.

urm not sure on my worse sequel. in general i dont like sequels so its hard to say.

Also I think Pixar did an awesome job with Toy Story 2. I've always wanted them to do Monsters Inc 2 just because I bet they'd do a brilliant job.

I agree with Cowza, theres just not the same magic to sequels, so they're ok films but they're just not as special. Lion King 3 is the funniest though (we can't let them feel the love tonight!!!)

toy story two..how did i forget that! i love bullseye. cant wait for toy story three.

i am apprehensive of cars 2..im worried they will do the same story just in anohter venue..i think its international..so may lightning will race against " a real michael schumacher ferrari!"

Haha... High School Musical 2 for sure... I mean more specifically the direct to dvd animated ones though...

like Little Mermaid 2... Pocahontas 2

    If we're talking theatrical ones...

definitely Toy Story 2 *minnie*! That is one of the rare stories of a sequel being praised by critics over its predecessor. Never understood why Return To Neverland went to theatres...

I'm not surprised, he got so little screen time, I'd have been annoyed if I were him :D

Cars 2, didn't know about that!! I think we're in safe hands with Pixar, they gave us a fantastic sequel for Toy Story. It's really unusual for them to make a sequel...Finding Nemo was a massive hit but they left it at that. Wonder what made them pick Cars.

The success of Cars has always been a mystery to me. I saw it and liked it but for me personally it's one of the weakest Pixar films. Yet still three years on, people flock to the Disney Store (I work there) buying Cars merchandise.

I would imagine that's why they are considering a sequel to it. It might not have as much of an adult following but it is extremely popular with boys in the age group 3-8... and it has been consistently so since it was released back in 2006. I think it is popular enough with that age group to make revenue.

Cars 2 is still a rumour though... Disney have not confirmed that to us and we usually get told as cast members.

Its a rumour on wikipedia. but we shall see if there is confirmation.

I think Nemo and Monsters will be left the way they are, i think they ended very nicely. whereas with toy story there was always the possibility of a sequel.

I loved cars, no clue why, just clicked with it.

Me too, I really didn't think the film would work, the concept of it all was just so wierd. Of course I was wrong!!

I just bought the Pixar Shorts DVD with all their short films, For the Birds and Mikes New Car are so funny, one of the best bits about seeing a pixar film!

So true! I like the one with the busking concept with the little girl who plays the violin. I can't remember what movie it's from though. Maybe Cars?

Yeh it'll have been Cars I think, it was one of the later films. That little girl can really jam a tune. The one with the unicycle that no one wants to buy made me feel so sad!! how can it be that they can make you so emotional over things like that :D

I truly disgust sequels, except for one or two.

Come on, why on Earth there should eb 3 Cinderellas?
    or 2 Lady and Tramp?

But, the worst is that when you take Traditions, before working at the WDW, they remind
you that Walt Disney hated repeating himself, so doing sequels is anti-Disney...

The only sequels I love is Toy Story 2, and Peter Pan. Return to Neverland.

Cinderella 3 is awesome!!! It's based on the stage show Twiced Charmed on the Disney Magic ship...and the song sound familiar when you've heard them both. The second film was rubbish, but the song were still good....and I liked The Little Mermaid 2!!
