Disney not picking folks up anymore.

I assume everyone got the e mail today saying we would have to make our own way to Vista in future when we arrive?  I know my sister also got it and she is doing the icp. 

Makes little difference to me as I can ask a friend to pick me up but I think for most folks it could be a little more daunting now.

 

Yeah, I've read it under the ICP thread, but have any CRP's gotten that email? Because I haven't... But that might be because I haven't gotten any information other than when my arrival date is...

My start date is May 6 and I never received a notice about that...I did tell them that I was driving down, but just in case anything happened with that, you'd think they would send it to everyone going down?

 

I always seem to be left out of all these notices too! I emailed Kristen from Yummy and she sent me the email within a few minutes.

 

No, I haven't booked a flight yet.... I can't afford it right now :-\

 

maybe once the recieve your arrival details they might send word out... or maybe you will recieve it colser to your departure

Well I don't have to worry about this just yet but CM's really aren't getting picked up from the airporrt anymore?? Does anyone know why? Cuz I think that this woulfd pose a real big problem for most people. I know they'd send directions and such but still...I have no idea where to go and I've never been to Florida plus it was comforting knowing that there'd be someone there waiting... :-\

 

o wow! yea i like the idea that they are people waiting and then you all get to enter the purple gates together!!!!


but i guess getting a cab wouldnt be that bad, especially if you had a couple people to split the fare.

 

i start on july 20th n much preferred the idea of gettin collected from the airport so i can meet other ICP's, but i guess we can still all meet up on the flight and at the taxi point kristen mentioned in her e-mail. anyone else for the july 20th start of the programme?

It's not very far... I think it's like 20mins from the complexes, maybe a little longer, I've forgot...

 

I got the email and i'm on the CRP starting in July, my boyfriend got it too and he is CRP starting in Sept.

 

Yeah i received that email today too, so does this mean we ALL have to go to Vista, even CRP cause arent they usually in the Commons? I take it Vista is where they sort out the housing arrangements?

 

omg i leave in 3weeks doin CRP in the uk pavillion and havent got no email yet! i was told about it earlier by someone whos gonna be livin in vista, he forwarded his email onto me! not bein funny but you'd atleast expect them to pay for the taxi there, $60 is a joke. i jus know for a fact im gonna mess up big time tryin to get myself there

 

wow 3 weeks im jealous! i have another 5 months to wait! i agree on the taxi situation though it sure is a lot of money! but even if we shared it wouldnt really work because everyone is going to have so much luggage theres just not gonna be enough room for too many people so it would really work out much cheaper anyway!

 

That's nothing to worry about, just go to mears, they have vans to transport you, so there's room for luggage

CRP's used to live at the commons, but not anymore. Now you could live at any of the complexes...
